Holiday apartment on the first floor of a rural complex of the late '800, in Pleod, a municipality spread in several villages in the center of Valle d'Aosta, and about 5 km from Aosta. For common use: large relaxation area with sauna and whirlpool, large open area and equipped with garden furniture and barbecue. The accommodation is the ideal solution for your winter holidays: The Pila ski lifts are only 5 km away. Pila is a very varied ski area (70 km of slopes) with altitudes ranging from 1540 mt to 2750. Here there is also a snow park for snowboarding or freestyle. There are also a mini club and a fun park for the fun of your children. Other famous ski areas are nearby: Cervinia (51 km) La Thuile (51 km) Champoluc (61 km) and Gressoney (74 km). Discover the Valle d'Aosta, a region rich in art and culture: in Aosta you can visit lots of Roman and Roman monuments. Numerous castles dot the Aosta Valley landscape and are worth a visit, such as Fenis (11 km), Issogne (34 km), Verres (32 km), Sarre (17 km) and Bard (41 km). Ideal location for your summer holidays: the area is dotted with trails for your hiking and mountain biking. At 39 km is Pre 'Saint Didier famous for its thermal baths and spas, to plunge yourself in relaxation and wellbeing in an enchanting landscape surrounded by the beautiful Alpine peaks. At 110 km Turin, the first capital of Italy, offers a wide selection of monuments and museums. Above all the famous Egyptian museum and the Royal Palace of Venaria Reale (111 km), the residence of the kings of Italy and inscribed on the List of World Heritage and recently completely restored. The food and wine present some delicious DOP products including the Lardo di Arnad and the Fontina, ingredients used in the rich local cuisine.

You will receive full details about your booking including directions to the property and a booking voucher that you need to hand over to the property manager when you receive the keys. In some instances you may need to collect the keys from the property manager’s office or some other location which is not the actual property you have booked to stay in. The exact dimensions will vary from property to property but the agent has specified that bed sizes are as follows:

  • A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.

A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.

Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself. You need to climb a ladder to reach this room. Lofts are very popular with children but may not be suitable for adults or elderly guests.

If a property has an annexe then it will typically be a building attached to the main property or a small self-contained building. Annexes often have no central heating.

Please note that bedrooms in holiday rentals are usually not that large; you should refer to the floor plan to get a sense of size.
