3 out of 5 people recommend staying here

From Dublin, Ireland Aug 2010

We were going to a course in Mount Mellary and when i asked how far away it was i was told 15 mins but it was 30 mins away which was too long.
The house downstairs is very small for more than 3 people, the TV has only one station working badly and the DVD player was broken, there was no radio or CD player. The house was not clean when we got there and we hoovered the floors downstairs and picked up various pieces of rubbish from the floor we then washed out the floor and the water was quite dirty we felt this was unacceptable considering we had just arrived also we had to hoover the ceilings, wwindow ledges and walls as there were Spiders, flys and daddy long legs in every room. Overall i was very disapointed as i had paid over €700 for this place and it certainly wasnt worth it.

From Carrickfergus, United Kingdom Aug 2007

In general, I was very happy with the property and the level of facilities available. The house was clean and well-appointed and had everything that I and my family required. It was also within reasonable driving distance of places that we wanted to visit e.g. Cork. Perhaps one small criticism would be that the electricity was a fixed amount (21 euro), no matter how much was used, which made it pointless to try and switch off appliances, either for environmental or cost reasons. However, the up side was that there was always hot water. I would feel quite happy to recommend this property to others.

From London,england

The cottage offered spacious accomodation and was nicely furnished the TV suffered very bad reception though so was unwatchable. The location is ideal for a get away from it all break however there was no garden and you would certainly need a car to get anywhere, the nearest village is 5km away (Lismore.Although the cottage was nice the location was a bit remote but if that's your thing book it
