Family from Woodland, USA May 2016

Our stay was delightful overall. The only issue was that, in order to use the Wi-Fi it was necessary to go into town and pay at the Vodaphone store. That is something that we did not experience elsewhere in our stay.

From Louisville, USA Mar 2008

Overall excellent stay. Directions to property were on target. Neighbors dog is really nice! Enjoyed the village.

From Portadown, United Kingdom Dec 2007

This is a spacious and very well equipped cottage. There are 3 lovely bedrooms and a fabulous kitchen which has everything (except a dishwasher!) that you would need. The owners have thought of everything, from batteries to matches to spare light bulbs. They left enough fuel for one fire. It has extra bedding, toilet rolls, towels and bed linen. We had some problems with the heating and the owner did his best to sort it but as we were there at New Year, this proved difficult. We found it a very good base for touring the surrounding area and would recommend the Pier 1 pub and restaurant in Donegal town. Also the beaches at Rossnowlagh and Narin are excellent.

From Norwell, USA Jun 2006

The house was beautiful and everything was provided as described. The owner, James Burke, was especially helpful in suggesting places and people to see. We had a fantastic time staying at this cottage and would enthusiastically recommend it to anyone! The Donegal area is truly charming and beautiful. The people were warm, friendly, helpful and down to earth. It was an awesome, fun experience.

From North Shields, Tyne And Wear

Spacious and well-equipped in a good location with scenic views and a friendly dog nearby!

Recent Visitors. James, Just a wee note of thanks for the 6 enjoyable days in Breenymore. Great house in a great area. Hope all was well for the next occupants. Thanks again, Robert Jul 2010 Hi James, We had a lovely time in Ireland and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Breenymore Cottage. My sister in laws stayed for 2 nights and thought the cottage was excellent. The location and views were wonderful and we would certainly consider coming back and recommending the cottage to others. The boys loved the space inside and out. The cottage is excellent and a home from home (although a bit more spacious). Thanks again for allowing the 2 others to stay for a couple of nights. Hope this feedback adds to the future enjoyment of other guests. Sandra Smith July 2010 Hi I just got my email fixed today it was fantastic the cottage was perfect big fire lit and curled up to be honest we went to the beach one and it was lovely we cooked good food and tottaly chilled didnt get to the boat thanks again Steve June 2010 Dear James We had a great week in Donegal - even the weather was good to us for the majority of the time! Breenymore Cottage was clean, warm and comfortable, with all the facilities we required. It is a lovely cottage and the views and location were great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. I would highly recommend it to friends and family. Thank you. With kind regards, Val Baker April 2010 Dear James, Thanks again for a wonderful stay at Breenymore. We had another fabulous time in the area and enjoyed all the comforts of the cottage. Nice job on the painting, by the way. Your neighbour Michael kept us supplied in duck eggs and weve returned home with a months supply of them! Our apologies to Regina. We ran slightly over time this morning, I hadnt actually read your email about being out on time etc until now as we already knew the score on directions and keys etc. Hope it didnt cause too much of a problem Anyway thanks again. Until next time. Regards Aoife & David Oct 2010 Dear James, Just a short note to thank you so much for the use of your cottage. We had a wonderful week. the cottage was more than we expected and was ideal for a young family like ours. Our compliments to you on having every facility and mod con on hand. It made life so easy. The area is also beautiful and we were lucky enough to get a good few days of good weather. We were really imressed with the style and lay out of the house and our only criticism is that it has made our own house feel inadequate!!! We hope to rent from you again at some stage in the future. Regards Aoife & David Monaghan Oct 2010 Hi James Just a short note to say we really enjoyed our time in Donegal, you have a beautiful home which really helped us enjoy our stayl Regards Pat Griffin Oct 2010 Dear James, Just to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay in the cottage. It is so well equipped and comfortable. The setting is idyllic and we travelled to some lovely picturesque parts. Thank you for letting us stay for the extra night—The wedding at the Solis Lough Eske was great but after such a big night it was nice to return to the tranquillity of Breenymore! With best wishes, Mary and Colin Webb Sept 2009 Hi James We rented your holiday cottage July 11th for one week and I said that once I had got the computer fixed after the thunderstorm I would email you, well here we are with normal service resumed! We will certainly think about visiting again. Thanks Daniel (April 2006)Dear James and GraceWe all had a very enjoyable time in Donegal and the bungalow was very comfortable and spacious. Everything was supplied with comfort in mind and well equipped. The large kitchen supplied all our needs for cooking and could seat 8 comfortably around the table. Beds were comfortable and linen clean. Instructions for finding the bungalow were very clear and straightforward to follow. In all we would recommend it as a 1st class place to stay and accessible to many parts of the West coast. We will return but don't know when. Will be in touch. We had a very good and relaxing week. The cottage was excellent, very spacious and well equipped. It was a great location for exploring the coast, lots of sandy beaches in easy reach. Yours sincerelyPeter WhittingtonVicar of St. Luke's Orrell

We did have 2 children an 8 and 12 year old and we all loved it. When asked what their favourite parts of the holiday the giants causeway and the cottage were the two top equal choices. they enjoyed exploring the beaches/cliffs, going for walks, visiting the railway museum and boat ride in Donegal town and visiting the caves in N.Ireland.Margaret couldn't have been more helpful. In fact none of us wanted to go home at the end of the week having fallen in love with both Donegal and the cottage. Thanks for your help.RoseAnne rapdoggett@onetel.comJust a short note to updated you on our holiday. We had a lovely time in Donegal plenty to do and the Cottage was outstanding. The Gleneany Bar was very welcoming and Margaret and Colm were extremely nice. Thanks very much for the use of your home and we wish you well. Joanna & Martin Docherty
