A Victorian Merchants house in the centre of Cobh (formerly Queenstown). Available for stays of 3 days or longer. Rates tailored to party size and stay duration. Please use the availability calendar to price your stay.

Cobh is located in the centre of Cork Harbour, less than 35 minutes drive from Cork Airport (29 km) and 25 minutes from the Centre of Cork City (23 km). It has all the amenities for a self catering holiday within walking distance, including a supermarket, bakery, off-license, restaurants and pubs.

The accommodation is arranged over the upper 3 floors of this property. The living accommodation is on the first floor. There is a beautifully proportioned reception room and a dining room which seats 10. Both are comfortable South facing rooms with harbour views. The kitchen is a fully equipped with a range style gas cooker, american fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave etc. There is also a breakfast room, a cloakroom and a laundry room with 20lb capacity washing and drying machines.

There are 5 bedrooms (one king and four twin), all en-suite, with showers (2 have bathtubs) on the second and third floors. Four of the bedrooms have harbour views.

The garden at the rear is approx 30m deep and is arranged over three terraces into the hill. It is a suntrap all day. The highest terrace is a deck with garden furniture, ideal for an al fresco meal, weather permitting.

Pricing is based on a base occupancy by 4 guests in 2 bedrooms. There is a supplement for additional guests as more rooms are made up, up to a maximum of 10 guests in 5 bedrooms.

Book stays from 3 days to 2 weeks. There is no fixed turnover day.

For 2 week rentals the rate includes a cleaning service, towel and linen change.

We stayed with extended family and had a great time. The house is lovely and spacious so there is no getting under each other's feet!!! Kitchen very well equipped, rooms are lovely, en-suites large, views amazing, living area comfortable. Check-in was easy and Alice was very helpful and informative. Would recommend.

Once again this amazing house came up trumps on a family holiday including 4 Generations. We entertained on one night and the dining room was the perfect choice for everyone to be together in a relaxed atmosphere. Alice is great, very accommodating and friendly on our arrival. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Easy Beach to anyone looking to stay in Cobh. Hopefully we will all return some day.

Absolutely top class. Location is ideal for shops,pubs and restaurants but not too busy.
Welcome by local manager was terrific -on time,friendly and efficient. Clean throughout, all facilities in kitchen (everything worked) plenty of cutlery,plates etc
Heating worked well,showers hot.
All in all thoroughly recommended. Not really suitable for people with difficulty climbing stairs.

This was our second stay at the house. Fantastic property with great facilities and great value. The only issue we had was that the wifi stopped working on the second day of our stay. The check out time of 10.30 am was quite early also but not the end of the world.

We have had problems with the wifi from time to time, We have had the cable to the house replaced and we have been assured that the signal in the house is the same level as in the exchange. The router is supplied by the ISP. Unfortunately beyond our control.

The check out time as stated on our website is in fact 10 am, and Alice waited for you to leave. We have to allow enough time to clean and prepare the house for the next arriving guests and as you will appreciate that can sometimes be a challenge.

We were a group of nine "mature" adults and really enjoyed our long weekend at 2 East Beach. The house perfectly suited us with lots of room to socialise and en-suite bedrooms for everyone. The location was amazing - overlooking the harbour - and was an easy stroll to shops, bars and restaurants, especially the Quays. We also walked up to the station for a ride into Cork. Where we really liked the open-top bus tour. The support we had from local agent Alice was the icing on the cake - one of our group left his phone (idiot!) but Alice rescued it and arranged a courier to return it. Great house and good value.
