Thank you for considering our Cappoquin Town house for your holiday. 9 Church Street is centrally located in the town and consequently has lots of shops and bars within 500m of the front door.
9 Church Street is centrally located in the town and consequently has lots of shops and bars within 500m of the front door. There are many walks and fishing too within a short walk as well as Lismore Castle only 6 miles away. It really is possible to park the car and not use it until you go home.
We think our spacious 3 double bedroomed town house is a great base for many holiday types including touring, walking, fishing, golfing and seaside breaks for the family.
The house itself fronts directly onto the road and is deceptively spacious.You open the door into the hall, which leads to the lounge. Parking is on the road.
There is an LCD TV with free sat and DVD player. Two sofas and beanbags to sit on. Plenty of tables for card games and meals. The room is also heated using an electric convector heater.
The kitchen is the heart of the house, with a large 6 seater table and a well equipped spacious cooking area. There is an electric cooker with hood, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, fridge, microwave, coffee brewer and washing machine. We have ample quality utensils, pots and pans.
The is a small yard outside with a six seater picnic bench and a Barbeque.
There is a hall area with ironing board, high chair and a vacuum cleaner. The original stairs dating back to when the house was built in 1850 wind up to the upper floor.
The main bedroom is double aspect.
It has a double bed with bedside tables. There is a dressing table, a wardrobe and a set of drawers. The room is very light and airy. There is also a travel cot. The room is heated using an electric convector heater.
The second bedroom again overlooks the church on the other side of the road. It has two single beds and is well equipped with bedside tables, two chests of drawers and free standing mirror. The room is heated using an electric convector heater.
Overlooks the river Blackwater at the back of the building. It has a double bed, bedside table and chest of drawers.The room is heated using an electric convector heater.
We have a large and airy bathroom with WC, sink, bath with an electric shower over it.
OTHER ITEMS OF INTEREST
The house is in use a lot of the time so there are games DVDs puzzles etc. We provide all towels and linen in the price and we leave most expendables such as shower gel, washing up liquid and dish washer tabs.
The electricity is paid for using a coin meter, so keep some 2 Euro coins handy. We will start the meter off
with 4 Euros worth of credit.
There will be a welcome pack so you can have a cup of tea and slice of cake on arrival.

This house has so much character and even though the downstairs floor slopes just a little we werent bothered by it. We got used to it and I am a very particular person and had several picky people staying with us. The only draw back was there being six of us and only one bathroom/toilet. All-in-All, I would recommend this house as it was very centrally located to loads of tourist sites and allowed us to venture out during the day and then come home in the evening. The caretakers are wonderful people and very helpful. Also, its within walking distance to the "Toby Jug" pub.
