Great area very very beautiful and very quiet . The stables are well situated just in front a nice lake and not far to Sixmilebridge The entire group spent a nice week in this place . The owners are very friendly. Without any doubt we recommend Mount Cashel the Stables . Thanks againRead more
Had a wonderful stay at Mt. Cashel Lodge! Absolutely beautiful. It's a good home base for exploring County Clare, Ennis, Cliffs of Moher/the Burren, Galway, etc., but is also a great place to just hang out and enjoy the property and lake. It was perfect for our family. We absolutely loved Mt. Cashel Lodge and hope to return one day.Read more
Wenn arriving we had a warm welcome and wenn entering the lodge we felt us really at home. Everything you need is present. And the lake with the possibility to sail on it is really an extra plus.Read more
We stayed for a very enjoyable week at this property with 4 adults and 2 children during the Easter holidays. Only a 20 minute drive from Shannon airport was ideal for us and the property met all of our needs, with a very welcoming owner to greet us. We were allowed to use rowing boats and kayaks on the beautiful lake which can be seen from the lounge and only a minute walk away. No charges were asked for this and life jackets were accessible. The children also enjoyed the trampoline and small play area and large grassy area beside. Overall - this was a super property, plenty of space for us all and super comfy beds! A great location too to access the Burren, caves, dolphin watching and beautiful scenery. Would definitely recommend.Read more
This is one of the nicest places I have stayed in. Everything was of such high quality. The View was stunning and the accommodation first class. Other sites would be advised to set this standard of quality. I would recommend it to anyone. Everything in the lodge was excellent. Pat was very friendly and helpful. 18/3/19 Matthew DublinRead more
We are a family of four with two 9 year olds. We absolutely loved staying in Mount Cashel Lodge 2 and would definitely love to go back. The location is very peaceful and great for children. The owners, Pat and Annette, were very welcoming and our children became best friends with their lovely dogs. The properties look over a small lake (with an original Crannog) and guests have full access to the equipment in the boathouse. We took the larger boat out on the lake with the whole family but there are also individual canoes. The accommodation was very comfortable and clean. We put on the stove every evening and used the plentiful turf supply in the shed beside our property. The location is very handy to many sightseeing options. In our short stay, we chose to visit Craggaunowen, the Aliwee Cave and Birds of Prey Experience and the Burren Discovery Centre. Overall, it was a wonderful short break.Read more
