The property is very secure with plenty of parking (we had 3 cars). There was an issue with the electric while we were there ( a area problem) and the owner was amazing turned up every time we called and sorted as best he could. The local town is a short drive away and is a tourist destination with lots of shops, restaurants and entertainment. It is a very easy drive to local villages, the mountains, hot springs and beautiful scenery. The nearby beaches we visited were not sandy but did have umbrellas and seats. Beaches are shingle round here but very handy, if you can be dragged away from the pool. Short journey to Nafpaktos (Lepanto) with shopping, harbour and castle. Easy day trip to Delphi. Nice quiet little villages nearby for food and other beaches. Kind hosts with arrival food, wine from own vines and parting gifts. When we arrived we were met by Makis and his wife who manage the property they showed us round the property and told us everything we needed to know .The owners had left a welcome pack which had everything you could think of even a huge bowl of fruit and wine.There was even toothpaste and shower gell etc in all the bathrooms.The only thing we would say is that a car is essential as there is nothing within walking distance.On the website it says you can awlk to the village square where there are restaurants.when we put this in sat nav it said it was a 50 min walk.We drove there but there was nothing there only a couple of locals that didn't look too friendly.If you are prepaerd to drive then this is an amazing place to stay only 20 mins from Corfu town.MarkFamily from Wellng, United Kingdom
