Reviews of our villas in Zakynthos

The owners are delightful, generous and very accommodating. The garden and pool are very pleasant. The accommodation is as stated. We didn’t hire a car as we thought we would be able to walk from the premises to the local amenities. However there are no pavements in the immediate area and the road is fairly narrow and winds which was difficult as we had an infant in a pushchair. Also the distance to a proper supermarket which sells everything including meat and fresh milk necessitates the need for a car. So we hired a taxi, reasonably priced, when we shopped and ate out. A lovely villa and a beautiful island. Thank you to the owners; you were a joy to meet.Read more
We booked our holiday to Zante solely due to seeing this villa on clickstay. We were looking for a holiday that had a sense of luxury, was tranquil and good for families. This villa was perfect. It is exactly as you see it in the photos. We were a family of 4 with 2 children, aged 11 and 15 years. The WiFi was excellent! As the villa is owned by a family it is very well maintained and had exceptional facilities. There is a double bunk upstairs and a double room downstairs. The only tiny negative was that we weren't all sleeping upstairs together to take full advantage of the amazing balcony, however we appreciate the other bedroom was kept private for the owners. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. It is so nice to go to a property with such a homely feel, there were ice packs in the freezer, tinfoil, salt and pepper etc, which does make a massive difference on a self catering holiday. A lovely welcome pack on arrival and we were visited on the first day to ensure all was OK. The pool was amazing, very clean (a friendly pool man came 3 times a week) it was very private with lovely sunbeds, tables and umbrellas. The view from both the upper and lower balconies were spectacular, over to the turquoise ocean and nearby Kefalonia to the left and mainland Greece to the right. The garage was down some stairs under the pool which kept the car lovely and cool. To get such views the villa is high up, approx 3-4 km from Tslivili. We chose to eat in the villa quite alot due to the amazing setting and it had a good bbq. However when we went out into Tslivili we got a taxi at 10 euros each way. There are many many lovely tavernas here, alot of nice ones we found which were family run. The directions you receive from clickstay to the villa are very good, however due to the poor signage on the island and it mainly being Greek, we found getting around so much easier with SatNav. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this villa to family and friends and would definitely book with clickstay again.Read more
Spent a week in August at the villa, which is a good 15 minutes walk into the local resort of Laganas. Taxis are available but we found that many of the local drivers didn't know the address. Situated off a back road it is in a quiet area except for the sound of planes landing & taking off, as you can see the airport from the villa. The pool was a welcome break from the heat with the pool man coming every other day. The villa is the middle one of three on the lane and so is slightly overlooked by one of them and separated by a metal fence by another adjacent to it - if you are looking for complete privacy then it is not for you at the moment, once the shrubbery grows this may alleviate the issue. Facilities were good - including a full kitchen with appliances - though guess work is required as we couldn't find instructions for the washer or dishwasher. We did have an issue with the TV & DVD Player as they didn't work upon our arrival - this was quickly resolved by the managing agent who bought a new cable for the TV, however the DVDPLAYER was not fixable though I believe it is being replaced. All in all we had a lovely relaxing break at the villa - it is a great base from which to explore what the island of Zakynthos has to offer.Read more

Perfect, private villa with five star views and facilities Fantastic, beautifully designed and maintained villa with amazing views from lots of different places to sit, relax and swim in the garden. We had a great holiday and were very well looked after. This part of Corfu is lovely - local beach, tavernas, boat trips, snorkelling etc all in easy reach; but really no need to travel if you just want to chill in this lovely house.Read more

Villa rentals in Zakynthos
The south coast of Zakynthos is popular and well-equipped for holiday-makers, with its lively bars, and restaurants and tavernas serving both Greek and international cuisine; beaches that offer water sports, sunbeds and other facilities. The beaches on the south-east coast, on the pine tree carpeted Vasilikos peninsula are a breeding ground for the endangered Loggerhead turtle and the golden Gerakas beach is particularly attractive.
The north and west coasts of the island are beautiful, unspoilt and rugged, the east coast offers long white sandy beaches as well as small inlets, and all around the island isolated coves can be found. The interior is green with olive groves and lemon trees, and here you can find pretty, traditional hill villages swathed in bougainvillea with fabulous views across the mountainous landscape. Boat trips from Zakynthos allow one of the best ways to explore the island; visit the famous Blue Caves and try snorkelling there amongst the limestone arches, and continue on to picturesque, white-sanded Shipwreck Cove for more secluded swimming.
