Family from Nottinghamshire, United Kingdom Jul 2013

14 nights from 31 st July - 2 families 4 adults and two boys aged 11/12. We didnt hire a car.
Overall we had a fantasic holiday, the Villa definately catered for our group of six.
The Villa was very clean, and had a lovely outside areas to sit and relax by the private pool. To be honest the photos dont give the property justice as it looks a lot nicer and larger.
Fantastic to have the airconditioning through out as when its in the high 30/40 definately need it, large indoor living area and kitchen - need a new kettle though!
Upstairs bedrooms have lovely balcany and builtin wardorbes. All in all couldnt complain about anything - great value for money.
There are some tennis courts but they arent set up to use.
Simonne to property agent was very helpful, and if you need a taxi booking to go back to the airport, give her a ring and she will sort you out with a very reliable company looking at around 20 euros one way.
We read a number of reviews before booking, and here are a few tips.
Definately take a torch with you, as when walking back to the villa from town, it is a little dangerous (both day and night) the road is windy with blind corners and you will get to see if you dont already know they drive how they want!!! so make sure you take a torch out at night so you can be seen on the roads.
The walk to the shop is really about 20 mins one way, and the better shop is in the main town (groceries) not an issue if you have a car booked.
Nice to go down the beach where you can hire sunbeds and umbrellas about 6euros for two.
there are so many places to eat you will be spoilt for choice, however we did try King Prawn which you can pass on one of the ways your walk into town, and it wasnt worth the money - everyone to their own though.
Some nice places to eat if you find them in town, The Family Restaurant, Appollo (this is at the other end though), Olive garden, Sweet revenge (beautiful large servings) and you must go up to the Balcony and see the sunset and have a meal which is not expensive.
If you want to do any trips on the street near popyees there is a stand for special offer tour company, the lady is english speaking and very helpful (the Guide Sue who takes most of the bus tours was fantasic and speaks Greek and English)
take a trip to the shipwreck, zante town at night where you get to have a meal and some shoppping, and some of the boat trips. all reasonable prices but exceptionally organised.

had a great holiday, lovely villa, beautiful beaches, great restaurants, trips, clear blue sky and the Greek people are so friendly.
have a lovely time if you go

Overall was happy with the accomodation, at the price we paid, the location was OK would not recommend it for elderly my parents really struggled with the walk into Tsilivi and couldnt face the walk to the beach! wasnt too bad on the way home as there is a taxi rank outside Sandras Bar at the bottom of the hill, if no taxis are there go for a drink in Sandras and they will order you one they always arrived within a couple of minutes.

The Resort of Tsilivi was fantastic and would definately go back, loads to see and do and hundreds of bars and restuarants, you will be spoilt for choice, we was there for 3 weeks and still never managed to get round them all!

The owner was having the pool tiled at the end of our Holiday which will make a big difference.

Bedrooms upstairs are a good size, problem with privacy as the wardrobes go back to back from one bedroom to the other and are not sealed so you can hear everyword from each bedroom.......which is OK when sharing with family......unless they snore!

Would defiantely go back to Villa Franco providing the price was right, I have noticed it has already increased from what we paid.
