Next to the most beautiful sandy beach on the south coast of Tinos Island, this spacious traditional-style, modern villa on two levels, features two bathrooms, well furnished rooms, fully equipped kitchen, ceiling fans, air-conditioning, Wi-Fi and absolute comfort for 6 people.
From the large south-facing terrace you will experience the most breathtaking Aegean sea-views with the Islands of Mykonos, Delos and Syros in the background. It is built with traditional stone features and a large pergola with climbing plants and flowers that offers valuable shade from the strong afternoon sun. - The spacious living room features traditional wooden ceilings and a corner fireplace. It is tastefully furnished with Cycladic-style furniture and decorated with Greek seascape paintings that emphasize the authentic traditional character of the villa.
The main bedroom is adjacent to a fully equipped bathroom and has a double bed, fitted wardrobes and a patio-door that opens to the magnificent view from the terrace. The very large (40m2) second bedroom is equipped with two sets of twin beds at each end, fitted wardrobes, separate refrigerator and a full bathroom with bathtub and shower. It is ideal for families with children and can be separated into two sections for additional privacy.
The long sandy beach (350m) is only 5 minutes walk, as is the nearest cafe and restaurant. It is one of the most beautiful beaches of the Island, which stretches for more than 1km and is shallow and safe for children.
Tinos town (5 km) is less than 10 minute drive and is full of life with many restaurants, shopping streets, medieval cobbled streets, traditional cafes, bars, and plenty of nightlife for all ages. Coach tours around the island as well as boat trips to the islands of Andros, Syros, Mykonos, Delos, Paros Naxos and Santorini are available on a daily basis from here.
Apart from the numerous beautiful beaches, several cultural sites like the impressive Cathedral and the Cultural Centre in Tinos town, the marble art museum in Pyrgos, the old Ursuline convent in Loutra, the sculpture exhibition and the home of the famous sculptor Halepas, are well worth a visit. - There are also folklore museums in many of the villages, which exibit traditional artefacts related to the Cycladic culture. - Several popular summer festivals, which are held in the main squares of the villages, offer a warm welcome to everybody with traditional music and dance, as well as complimentary wine and snacks.
