Overview

The cottage is a traditional Greek stone "kalivi" (country house) renovated to the most modern standards. Such traditional touches as authentic Greek tiles, family sleeping platform, indoor fireplaces and outdoor grilling facilities have all been lovingly preserved and restored. The surrounding 2.5 acres of plum, apricot, and olive trees ensures your quiet privacy.

Quiet, Yet So Close to Everything
The cottage is conveniently centrally located -- 15 minutes in any direction brings you to 5 different beaches or the main town of Skopelos where you find numerous fine restaurants, tavernas and an excellent night life. You will need a car to get to and from the cottage and town, but also to get around and explore the island.

Sunny Beaches and Forested Mountains
Skopelos is the "greenest" island in Greece. Over 70% of the island is protected forest lands. Walking out of the cottage front door and you can explore the numerous varieties of flora and fauna found on the island. Some excellent walks can be had on old "monopatis" -- flagstoned goat trails from the time before cars and roads (the first road to span the island was completed in 1965). If you want to relax on the sand and swim in the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean, seven beaches can be found within 15 min of the cottage.

Summary:

A traditional Greek cottage, a quiet retreat with beautiful views overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

I spent there 10 days in August and Im really falling in love with this cozy cottage, a really quiet retreat with breathtaking views
This is Antonio P, who rented your house on Skopelos from the 18th to the 24th of August. Both my girlfriend and I have wanted to send you a thank you word since we came back from Skopelos. We would like you to know that your cottage is wonderful and made our stay on Skopelos really special. Needless to say, we won't hesitate to contact you once again if some time in the future we decide to go back to this breathtaking island, and of course will recommend it to anyone we know who decides to travel over to Skopelos.
