Family from London, United Kingdom Aug 2016

We had a wonderful and very relaxing stay in Villa Brio 3. The villa is perfectly located and the outdoor space is lovely - a peaceful garden with beautiful unspoilt views out to sea from the garden and balcony areas. The pool area is nicely designed and the jetty into the sea was perfect for snorkelling and swimming.
Annita could not have been more helpful or accommodating . Any minor issues (e.g. a light bulb needed changing) were dealt with pleasantly and quickly.
The villa was well equipped and all the bedrooms were air conditioned. There was limited seating in the living area but plenty of outdoor seating and as it was hot we didn't spend long inside. The villa layout is designed to maximise the lovely views - the top bedroom balcony was our favourite. As the villa is on 3 levels and the stairs are fairly steep young children or those with mobility difficulties might find the layout a bit tricky but it was fine for our family of teenage children.
All in all a fantastic place for a relaxing holiday.

Friends from Yateley, United Kingdom Jun 2016

4 friends stayed for 1 week in Villa 3.
The villa location was as described, on the top of a cliff about 5 mins taxi drive from Skala village (€5).
It's opposite a hotel which is great if you want a meal, drink etc.
The rooms in villa are good sized. The lounge area was ok for us (4people) but may be a squeeze for more. Only a 2 seater sofa and another sort of seat and a table with 4 chairs. This wasn't a problem as we were down by the pool or on the top bedroom balcony most of the time which had the most spectacular views of the sea and coastline. Also there was a table on the patio with 6 chairs for outside dining.
The views were absolutely amazing!!!
The pool was clean and lovely and had comfy sunloungers and an umbrella but the umbrella was old and really needed replacing as difficult to put up, also one sunbeds was ripped - this wasn't a problem as we didn't need all the sun beds.
A/c in all bedrooms. Lots of hanging space in wardrobes and good drawer space. The beds were comfy and towels provided. We also appreciated the safe which we used.
The villa was very clean and the cleaner came daily.
We would have like some information as there was no tourist leaflets ie map, trips, local info so we went to the hotel (Pelagos hotel) opposite for these -very friendly English owner.
The walk to nearest supermarket was a good 20 mins away which in the heat of the day as a bit far so we phoned a taxi which always were prompt and efficient with friendly drivers.
The village of Skala was quiet with lovely restaurants and food. We didn't have a bad meal!
The Old Times, Nautilus,
Mikelatos Family, Old Pined were our favourites. A great chill out bar was Ammos which was about half way into Skala.
The sea was amazing and clear and we used the little private jetty to get access to the sea then swim to the little cove next to us - perfect!
All in all we had a fantastic stay and would thoroughly recommend Villa Brio to anyone wanting a peaceful stay on a beautiful location.
Thank you to Annita the owner who always responded quickly to all our queries.
We will be back!

Family from Norwich, United Kingdom Sep 2015

The design of the villa was very nice, but furnishing was basic with not enough seating in the communal areas such as the lounge and dining area. Beds were a bit hard. The kitchen was well equipped. We had seen photos for villa 4 which is of a much higher standard than our villa. The garden and pool were lovely as were the beautiful views! It was a very relaxing holiday and a lovely place to spend quality time with our family!

Large Group from Westerham, United Kingdom Sep 2013

We booked all 4 villas for a wedding party and had the wedding also at the villas. The villas and surrounding area were breathtaking. The website photos do not give the whole place justice as it is very difficult to capture via photos - we have tried. Having all 4 villas was like having our own street. Everyone had their own pool, space and quiet if they wished or everyone came together in the larger villa 4 pool area. It is ideal for large groups and smaller families if you only needed 1 villa. The views from all villas are amazing. The facilities are described very well and the living areas are light, bright and very clean. The cleaners visit every day and are very friendly and thorough. Villa 4 is especially spacious. You will not be disappointed.

The proximity to the town (20 mins walk) and local shop (10 mins walk) was perfect for us and very well stocked. There are excellent restaurants nearby especially The Nautilus which is shaped like a boat. The food and service was excellent and the staff was extremely friendly. The private jetty to the sea was used every day and provided excellent snorkelling opportunities with lots to see. The nearby beach is also family friendly and very close by.

Communicating with the owners was easy and quick with nothing being too much trouble. These villas are excellent value for money and we would say 5 star!!!

From Worcester, United Kingdom Oct 2011

What can we say... Villa Brio was the most perfect setting for us and our 22 guests for our Wedding in Kefalonia. The outside space surrounding the villas was absolutely breathtaking, and the decor of all villas was spotless and modern. The location was gorgeous - we had many cliff-jumping competitions and the sea was so clear, perfect for us to indulge in some snorkelling. The town of Skala, a supermarket, patisserie and a few different tavernas were all within walking distance, making the Villas a perfect location for us. We all want to go back to Villa Brio again!

From Piggabeen, Australia Sep 2011

We are a party of 4 adults (2 married couples) from the Gold Coast in Australia and we had the absolute pleasure of staying in Villa 3 at Villa Brio for 2 weeks mid September 2011. The gorgeous photographs displayed on their webpage were accurate but still didnt do the property justice. The beauty and fabulous location of the property were beyond our expectations and the daily cleaning service provided by two very friendly and obliging people was excellent. We didnt actually realise it was included in the package - from our experience of renting villas in Greece or Cyprus there is only a weekly linen change. Being avid swimmers we couldnt have enjoyed a better location we had the choice of walking down a stone pathway to what was essentially a private beach or a private timber deck landing for diving off into the crystal clear sea. The snorkling was great and visibility up to 30 feet. Weather was perfect and the resort village of Scala, which we could see from our Villa, just 1.3 km away or 2 minutes drive. The distance is easily walked but you need to do this very early in the morning or late in the afternoon due to the glorious heat. Villa Brio has ALL the mod cons, the owners keep the property fastidiously clean, including the swimming pool, and the green lawns of soft spongey Buffalo Couch grass would give the best of golf courses a run for their money! Each villa creates a sense of privacy but you are still able to mix it with your fellow villa dwellers if you so desire. The only negative we found was that there is no access to the pool area without going through one of the ground floor bedrooms. This did not pose an inconvenience for us as there were only 2 couples so we used the 3rd un-ensuited bedroom as our access. However, if you required the use of 3 bedrooms, it would be annoying for the poor person/s occupying the 3rd bedroom. It wouldnt take much to build a set of stairs from the mid-level lounge/dining area down to the pool and yard area - this would be much more practical. However, this is the only fault we found. Generally, the villas are well designed and built and the views and access to the sea are FABULOUS! Once again, must mention the friendly and obliging staff, whom you very rarely see but much appreciate their visits. What a relaxing, fun holiday this was!!! Whether you are singles, families or couples, your stay here will not disappoint. PS. Forgot the mention the goats with their bells....Its a pleasant experience to wake up at dawn and watch the goats tripping around the rocks below the villas.
