Ataraxia at Saravari Beach - Almond House
Ataraxia Almond is a renovated traditional stone farm building of 60m2 interior space, in a beautiful, quiet spot just five hundred metres down an earthen track to the magnificent Saravari Beach.
Saravari Beach is one of the best of the many beaches to be found on Limnos. It is in northeastern Limnos between the two major archaeological sites of Ifaestos and Kaveiria, near to the village of Kontopouli. On the beach is an excellent taverna with parasols and sun beds; also, a school for windsurf, as well several kilometres of quiet unspoilt sea and sand. Nearby is the famous Keros Beach favoured by kite surfers. Ataraxia is just 500 meters down a dirt track through fields and pastures to Saravari Beach.
The house Ataraxia Almond has been fully renovated and furnished to the highest quality in traditional style by excellent local stonemasons and carpenters. It marries traditional style with all modern comforts, including free wifi, and Nespresso.
The house features two air-conditioned bedrooms each with a full en suite bathroom and a walk through closet, a large all purpose kitchen, dining, lounge area, and a spacious, shaded, quiet, very private courtyard for cooking and dining outdoors, for sun-bathing, lounging, relaxing.
We will be delighted to welcome you to this peaceful place, surrounded by fields and pastures. On our small farm live a horse, donkeys, chickens, a couple of pigs and sheep, cats and dogs. You will get to meet everybody, and to try our home grown produce.
