This large holiday house is located in the village of Kenourio, just 3 km away from the lovely small town of Kamena Vourla and approximately 2 hours drive from Athens. This house is ideal for groups or families (there is also an annex ). You will enjoy the fenced garden, the large swimming pool as well as a BBQ area. The nearest sandy beach is only 600m and you will discover the charming village of Kenourio, a beautiful and traditional village offering modern facilities. You will be most welcome by the friendly inhabitants and you can taste the typical Greek specialties at the local taverns..Having this house as your starting point don't miss a day trip to Lichadonisia a hidden paradise of small green islands surrounded by gold sand and crystal clear turquoise waters.The islands of Lichadonisia can be reached by small boats from Kamena Vourla and you will find a beach bar along with sunbeds and umbrellas to spend the day in one of a kind place. You can also make some daily escapes to some of Greece's most beautiful sites, such as Delphi and of course Athens and all its archeological treasures. A longer trip (3 hours) will lead you to the village of Kalambaka at the foot of the stunning rock towers of Meteora on top of which six monasteries are definitely worth a visit (classified as UNESCO World Heritage). There is a possibility to accommodate 5 more persons (total 25) in folding beds with an extra cost paid on the spot.

This solidly constructed modern villa was recently built in 2004. The agent has rated it as a four star property so it is a well-equipped villa with above average furnishings. It is also great value for money. This villa has a private pool and beautiful panoramic view over water; it is also located in Greek Mainland, only 3km from Kammena Vourla. It is set in a very convenient location, just 600 metres away from a stone and pebble beach and 3km from a sandy beach. There's also a restaurant only 600 metres away.

The villa has free wireless internet. You can also park on-site at no extra charge. The villa is well equipped: it has a refrigerator, washing machine and dishwasher. It also has a barbecue, a garden and some garden furniture outside.

We are a large family group 11 people aged 12 to 49. The house is stunning and huge, fabulous pool, garden and bbq area. The property is very secure with plenty of parking (we had 3 cars).
There was an issue with the electric while we were there ( a area problem) and the owner was amazing turned up every time we called and sorted as best he could.
The local town is a short drive away and is a tourist destination with lots of shops, restaurants and entertainment.
It is a very easy drive to local villages, the mountains, hot springs and beautiful scenery. The nearby beaches we visited were not sandy but did have umbrellas and seats. For a day on the beach a boat trip to the White islands is a must.

The exact dimensions will vary from property to property but the agent has specified that bed sizes are as follows:

  • A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.

A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.

Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself. You need to climb a ladder to reach this room. Lofts are very popular with children but may not be suitable for adults or elderly guests.

If a property has an annexe then it will typically be a building attached to the main property or a small self-contained building. Annexes often have no central heating.

Please note that bedrooms in holiday rentals are usually not that large; you should refer to the floor plan to get a sense of size.
