The villa is just a 10-minute drive south of Agios Nikolaos, the capital of Lasithi and 20 minutes from the fishing village of Elounda. In Agios Nikolaos, there's plenty of things for you to see and do. You can head to the harbour and Voulismeni Lake, where you'll find restaurants, shops and cafes lining the waterfront. Try fresh seafood and Cretan cheeses or relax with a cooling drink.

In the town, the beaches of sandy Ammos and pebbly Kytroplatia are popular choices with clear, calm waters that are ideal for swimming, and they're close to all the amenities of the town.
