Living here is like a fairy tale since the shape and contracture of the villa itself is like being in a Castle. It’s a 360sq. meter villa, on an estate of over 6,000sq.m property, on the top of Agios Matheos Village. Surrounded by pines which make a nice shadow over the hot summer days, it is a place that combines pleasure with tranquility. This villa is definitely the best choice for a family or a group of friends who want to have a great time, being close to the city of Chania but yet again so far away from it all.

Driving in the property you will find an open parking place for about 5 cars where on your left you can see the organic garden and the pool in the back. Just before you enter the villa on your left you will find a double bedroom with an en suite bathroom which is detached from the rest of the house. Going in and on the ground floor and on your right a fully equipped kitchen and on your left the living room with 2 massive sofa beds and a stone made fireplace. Further in the unique style of this dining area with panoramic views of Chania town is something you cannot easily find somewhere else. On the same floor someone can find on wc/shower, one massage room and a big wardrobe room. From this point the villa separates into 2 wings with 2 different ways of going on the second floor. Behind the kitchen there is a stair way leading to the second floor where you can find 2 bedrooms. Also a big wc/bathroom is located there shared between them. In the first bedroom there are 4 single beds that can turn into 2 double beds since we can change the mattresses. The other bedroom which is the master bedroom has a big double bed and a connecting balcony with the other wing which leads you to the other double bedroom with a small wc/shower. There you can also find an ‘’Odas’’ as we call it in Crete which is an open space on the third floor, going from the second floor, which you can find an office and a sofa bed. From here there are stairs taking you again on the ground floor. All bedrooms have air conditioning, TV, reading lamps and a small mini bar.

In total the villa includes 4 bedrooms (of which one of them has 2 double beds that can turn into 4 singles) and 4 bathrooms and can easily accommodate up to 10 persons.

On the outside you can find a BBQ area, a 35 sqm swimming pool. a children’s pool along with a children’s playing area and a lot of space for you to relax. Don’t forget that you can have from our organic garden some vegetable for your Greek salad!

Living here is like living as a king with a private chef if needed, fine sateen sheets, algeproof pillows & 100% cotton towels & bathrobes!!

Hello there,
I am Manos, owner and manager of CreteVillas4U. I have been in the hospitality sector long before CreteVillas4U, however. I was actually born, grew up, and spent most of my life in a hotel owned by my family. So, I guess it came as no surprise when I expressed my wish to study in Rhodes’ Tourism School and, later on, when I decided to start my own business in the sector.
One thing I learned growing up in a family-run hotel is that hospitality is more than hotel management, logistics and operations. It is a culture, passing down from one generation to the next. You can study to be a hotel manager but you cannot study to be hospitable.
I apply this philosophy in my business as well. The rule is simple: the guests of the villas I manage are my guests. As an active traveller, I expect nothing less myself.
The fourth generation of Dafermos hoteliers has already been born. I know now that my two beautiful children will probably follow my steps, like I did before them. There is a small difference though: they are smarter, more educated, better (big smile).
All the best,
Manos Dafermos
