This vacation rental is a newly built house, fully equipped and very comfortable. It offers comfortable bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and for those who like sports, in the basement, there is a fully equipped gym area and a ping–pong table. A set of kite surf is waiting for everyone who likes “riding on the waves”. In you like billiards, there is a pool table at the second floor. In the garden, you can relax on a hammock under the trees, or in front of the great pool and the coconut trees. Near the pool there is also a barbeque area. You will also enjoy the huge covered terraces overlooking the garden, for romantic evenings with the great sea view. You will be only 30 km away from downtown Athens, in the area of Lagonisi close to Sounio, where you can discover the ancient temple of Apollonas and many other wonderful sites.

This solidly constructed modern villa was recently built in 2005. The agent has rated it as a five star property so it is one of their best villas - tastefully furnished and fully equipped. It is also great value for money. This villa has a private pool and sea view; it is also located in Athens City, only 500 metres from Lagonisi. The nearest airport is only 10km away. It is set in a convenient location, 1.6km away from a sandy beach. There's also a restaurant only 150 metres away.

The villa has free wireless internet. You can also park on-site at no extra charge. The villa is well equipped: it has a refrigerator, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. It also has a barbecue, a garden and some garden furniture outside.

Dear Novasol
We stayed in the villa from Aug 4th to Aug 15th 2018.
First of all you should advertise the villa correctly. Even though we specific asked, before we finally booked the villa, if we had the whole villa at our disposal and you confirmed this was the case, we found out by our arrival that the ground floor was “private” and could not be used by the guests.
Only 2 “apartments” was available for guests. On 1st floor a 2 bedroom apartment and on 2nd floor a 1 bedroom apartment. Only the bedrooms has air-condition, so normal stay in the other rooms are impossible during the summer.

The apartment on the 1st floor was well equipped with kitchen utilities, while everything was missing in the apartment on 2nd floor. In addition, many cabinet doors in the kitchen was in poor shape and could break at any time.
The toilet in the bathroom on 1st floor constantly had to be fixed, due to a defect in the water tank and the floor in the bathroom constantly got flooded due to lack of maintenance in the sewage system.

The pool area was without any shades. Only 1 small damaged umbrella existed, so in fact in was impossible to use the area around the pool until late afternoon.
The "outdoor" toilet and shower room at the pool side was broken. The toilet could not be used and whenever using the sink the floor was flooded. So if you need to go to the toilet, when you´re staying at the pool, you can only "climb" up to 1st or 2nd floor.
Every 2nd or 3rd day the water in the pool “disappear” during the night. Meaning that an early morning swim is impossible when the water level in the pool is 30-40 cm below normal level. During the morning, mostly around 10-11, the pool is filled-up again.

There is no cleaning at all in the villa. Bathrooms and floors were not cleaned and no bed-linen or towels where changed.
The pool was cleaned 1st and only time on Aug 13th 2018, i.e. after staying more than 1 week in the villa.
The barbeque was not cleaned and could not be used before we had cleaned it ourselves.

You cannot “relax on a hammock under the trees” as described on the web-site, because it´s not existing.
The offered free wireless internet is very poor and there is absolutely no internet available on the 2nd floor.

Also notice that payment of a “breakage deposit” of 150 Euro can be considered “lost money”. Sunday Aug 19th 2018 we were presented claims from the owner to pay for “damaged pool light, damage of a shower head support and use for plastic plates to feed cats”. Of course, we did not damage anything at our stay and use of plastic plates is better for cats than for people. There are a lot of "junk" already laying around the pool and in general the equipment in the villa seems worn out in a lot of cases.
Fortunately we did not pay any deposit and were just astonished how far people will go to get additional money.

The villa is advertised as a 5-star holiday home, but did not even reach a level of 3-stars. So it´s NO VALUE FOR A LOT OF MONEY and we cannot recommend anyone to stay in the villa for the advertised price or for any price at all.

You will receive full details about your booking including directions to the property and a booking voucher that you need to hand over to the property manager when you receive the keys. The exact dimensions will vary from property to property but the agent has specified that bed sizes are as follows:

  • A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.

A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.

Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself. You need to climb a ladder to reach this room. Lofts are very popular with children but may not be suitable for adults or elderly guests.

If a property has an annexe then it will typically be a building attached to the main property or a small self-contained building. Annexes often have no central heating.
