An apartment that sleeps 4 in a fully detached maisonette, located on the east side of Athens, in a very quiet neighborhood away from the noise of the town, with clean air, nice unblocked views to the west side of Attica and partial views to the sea towards the east.
Helen’s villa is close to Athens Intl. Airport (20 min.) and the port of Rafina (15-20 min.) where ferries depart daily for the islands of Andros, Tinos, Mykonos, Paros Naxos and Santorini. There are numerous beaches 20-30 min. away (the beaches of Artemis, Marathon Skoinias and Zouberi to name just a few); Athens city center is 35 minutes max., via Attica Avenue (Toll fees apply). You can reach the underground station in 20 min. and park your car there; by taking the underground you can reach most parts of Athens in 20-50 min. Numerous malls (Mac Arthur Glenn, Smart Park), coffee diners, super markets, pharmacies and other points of interest are 7-15 min. by car. Also the old 11th Century monasteries, one nearby (15 min. walking distance) and St Efraim’s monastery in Nea Makri (25 min. car driving). There is also the Zoo Park nearby (15 min.), and the Tomb of Marathon (20 min.).
The house owners Mrs. Helen and Mr. Stelios will be delighted to wait for you at the airport and escort you to the house through ‘follow me ‘, no matter the time of arrival or departure of your flight (you will need to rent a car for the duration of your stay).
The house itself is newly built and in excellent condition. 125 sq. m. in total, on a 500 sq. m. plot, elevated, fully detached with separate entrance and private parking. It sleeps 4 people in two double bedrooms; we can offer an extra foldable bed for an additional child (only over 4 years of age).
Entering the living room from the main entrance you cannot help but notice the beautiful decoration made with the special taste of Mrs. Helen. A dining table that sits 6 can be seen to the left, and to the front is the living room with two couches, each sitting up to 3 people, a big LED TV and a short living room table. The living room gives access to a veranda. The views from the veranda are to the east, with partial sea views from the side of the living room. The living room connects to a hallway that gives access to one bathroom (with toilet and bathtub) and one additional toilet room. The hallway also gives access to the two double bedrooms; both bedrooms have their own LED TVs. One of the two bedrooms has its own private detached veranda. Both the living room and the bedrooms are fully air conditioned. The house has Wi-Fi that can be accessed from any room or place within the premises without any problem.
The living room also connects to a fully equipped kitchen with a dining table that sits 4 people. A double compartment fridge-freezer, a stove, a microwave oven and a dish washer, not to mention cooking utensils and cutlery. The kitchen gives access to the veranda and from there, and all the way up to the double bedroom the view turns to the west and the mountain of Immitos, as well as to the house’s garden and swimming pool.
Both the garden and the pool can be accessed from the 24 stairs located to the right of the house’s main entrance. The swimming pool is 20 sq. meters in size, with a depth ranging between 0.80cm and 2.20cm. The pool area is equipped with 2 sunbeds one wooden bench, an umbrella and a small table with two chairs. Next to the pool area, there is a small grass garden with a sitting area. You may also have access to the barbeque after discussion with the owners first.
There is also a washing room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities, which will have to be booked for use without additional charge, after notifying the owners in advance.
There is a guard dog (confined to a restricted area). there is also a CCTV security system , but will stay switched off during stays.
As for cleaning, this is inclusive and holds as follows: for stays longer than 3 nights, one cleaning every 3 consecutive nights after the 3rd night of stay, including change of sheets and (bath/face and pool) towels.
Stay is limited to children over 4 years of age. No pets allowed.

Car hire is necessary as the renter will need a car to get about for shopping, eating out and the beach; however parking is available if required.
