The Agia Triada of Rethymno is a village near Mesi, 11 km southeast of the city of Rethymno on the road towards the Arkadi monastery. In an area full of olive trees and orchards, Agia Triada of Rethymno is a small village with spectacular view at the opposite hill, where the old village of Santa Trinita is located, as it was called by the Venetians. In the middle of the village, with its population not exceeding 50 residents, there is the Byzantine church that gave its name to this area. Apart from the church, the visitor’s attention is also attracted by the Venetian buildings along the narrow alleys.
