The holiday apartment in Sagerheide is peacefully surrounded by nature and is located near the forest. The holiday home is surrounded by fields and woods and is just 1500 metres from the beaches of Grand Lüsewitzer Lake and about 25 km from the Baltic coast. The apartment is located on a standalone 7000 square metres of land on which there is a cafe (restaurant), which was formerly a cow barn. Here you can have breakfast, and in the afternoon or in the evening, you can dine in peace and enjoy a glass of cold beer or wine in the wonderful beer garden under the shade of tall trees. There is a playground with a sandpit, seesaw and swings for your children. You can even barbecue and enjoy the evening by the campfire. You will love the incredible beautiful surrounding settings and the various animals. Explore nature areas with your bike ' for example, the drive towards Graal Müritz situated on the Baltic Sea is almost exclusively on nature trails. You may explore the Recknitz or the Warnow with a canoe or rowboat. You can shop in Sanitz which is 3 km away. There you will find among other things pharmacies, doctors and ATMs. The apartment is so idyllic and yet so central that you can reach many destinations in reasonable time from here. You can go shopping or go for a stroll in the hanseatic city Rostock which is 8 km away. Enjoy the many cultural offerings of the city and the surrounding areas. Great day trips are offered to Warnemünde, Kuehlungsborn, Stralsund and to the island of Rügen. You can even travel by train and the station is 1500 metres away. So, from Great Lüsewitz, within an hour by train, you can reach Rostock and Wismar. Washing machine / dryer are available for a fee.

The exact dimensions will vary from property to property but the agent has specified that bed sizes are as follows:

  • A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.

A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.

Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself. You need to climb a ladder to reach this room. Lofts are very popular with children but may not be suitable for adults or elderly guests.

If a property has an annexe then it will typically be a building attached to the main property or a small self-contained building. Annexes often have no central heating.
