Experience and enjoy a relaxing holiday in this unique 200-year-old dream house under thatch - close to the Wadden Sea. The house was kernsarniert in 2017 with great attention to detail and quality, partly antique materials. The furnishings were renewed in the Nordic and Danish style, paying attention was paid to the historic character, but also to modern design and technology.  This exclusive holiday home is located in the northwestern mainland community of Germany in an idyllic location on a mound with a magnificent view over wide landscapes. You can expect a personal and individual atmosphere at 120 square meters of living space.  Of all the rooms you have an open view over wide march. In the entrance of the dining hall is a large dining table and TV. Also located on the ground floor a fully equipped kitchen with wood stove. From here you also have access to the wine cellar - a real highlight in this house. Also on this floor is a living room, a bathroom with a shower, a toilet and two bedrooms, of which one another with a TV. In Bedroom no. 2, the ceiling height is lower than in the other rooms and is only about 1.80 m.  The additional floor heating in the bathroom makes for pleasant warmth. A comfortable and extendable by remote staircase leads to the first floor. Here is the sauna with infrared cabin, the studio with the fourth TV, a bathroom with shower and toilet.  The thatched roof house is situated on 8,000 square meters of ground with a small forest and lake. Generous, well-kept lawns and terraces, beach chair and natural green spaces are framed by old trees. a boat is (rowboat), which may be used on the small, private lake. Here you can relax and enjoy the idyll.  The reserve Rickelsbüller Koog and the Danish border are only about 2 kilometers away and the railway station in Klanxbüll, from which you can reach the island of Sylt in only 20 minutes by train, is nearby. In Klanxbüll you will also find a small grocery store, bakery and an Italian. Ideal exit point for Nolde Museum in the nearby Denmark, the North Frisian islands and islets as well as the port cities of Husum and Flensburg.

The houseIt is located in Rodenaes, only 18km from Niebüll. The nearest airport is only 25km away. It is set in a good location: there is a restaurant 2km away.

The exact dimensions will vary from property to property but the agent has specified that bed sizes are as follows:

  • A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.

A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.

Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself. You need to climb a ladder to reach this room. Lofts are very popular with children but may not be suitable for adults or elderly guests.
