Towards the south, you can view the marina and the Bay of Schlei, the mouth of the Bay of Schlei and the Baltic Sea. The holiday apartment is attractively furnished in Scandinavian style and is on the ground floor in the quay of the harbour. This house was built right on the pier. The Baltic Sea Resort of Olpenitz has a small pier for swimming with a sandy beach, which is just 500 metres away. The magnificent Baltic Sea Beach that is guarded by DLRG is just 5 km away. The beach offers swimming for an entire family. The well-lit rooms of the apartment in Olpenitz are over 78 square metres huge and offer adequate space for 4 people. Enjoy a fantastic view of the marina that stretches till the Baltic Sea from the open living/dining area. The kitchen has a stove, a microwave, a dish washer and various other appliances as well as a dining area, where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the water while having your breakfast. You can relax on the 18 square metres, south-facing terrace of this holiday apartment which stands adjacent to the harbour of Olpenitz. In addition to the luxurious outdoor furniture that is made available from the spring of 2016, there is also an original beach chair that contributes to the maritime flair of a Baltic Sea Holiday. The holiday home has 2 bedrooms with windows that extend till the ceiling, offering a grand view of the fjord. Both the bedrooms are equipped with a double bed (160 x 200 cm) as well as dark curtains. The modern kitchen has all the amenities for cooking. Coffee lovers will enjoy the Nespresso® machine available (you must bring along the pods). A washing machine has also been provided. There is a parking lot right in front of the house. Note for the guests with limited mobility: the entrance area has no steps and is flat. The staircase to the terrace is easily accessible, thanks to the ramp, which was constructed in 2016. In the bedroom of this holiday home, there is a narrow space for a wheelchair between a high bed and the wall. A rotatable bucket seat is available in the bathroom on request. Even the brackets on the toilet have been carefully designed. The entrance door is 85 cm wide and the inner doors are 80 cm wide (exception is the sauna door). The apartment though wheelchair friendly, is not completely wheelchair accessible. As the pricing is very flexible, this resort is ideal for any kind of holiday, such as, a spontaneous short trip, a long weekend, long, relaxing summer holiday or just a break in quieter seasons, especially when the Baltic Sea beaches offer a lot of space and provide cosiness the homes. Daily arrival and departure is possible all year round! Short stays available, minimum 2 nights onwards! Please note that the Olpenitz Baltic Sea Resort is still under construction. Restaurants and cafes are not available and most of the access roads are not yet connected to the main routes. The direct view of the Baltic Sea is naturally pristine, wonderful and priceless, but some of the spots lack the view as the property is still under construction. The area near the house is also under construction and the property includes a parking place that is available temporarily. Children must be carefully supervised due to the ongoing construction activities. Rental price is calculated based on the construction stage. Other discounts are excluded. *

This apartment has beautiful panoramic view over water; it is also only 6km from Kappeln. It is set in a very convenient location, just 500 metres away from a sandy beach. There's also a restaurant 3km away.

When do I receive directions to the apartment and key collection information?
Directions and details on how to collect the keys will be emailed to you after you have paid for the booking in full. You will receive full details about your booking including directions to the property and a booking voucher that you need to hand over to the property manager when you receive the keys. In some instances you may need to collect the keys from the property manager’s office or some other location which is not the actual property you have booked to stay in. Please note that the agent provides us with the GPS co-ordinates in the travel directions and we communicate these to you; you should contact the property manager if these are unclear.
Bed sizes / bedrooms
The exact dimensions will vary from property to property but the agent has specified that bed sizes are as follows:
- A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
- A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
- A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.
A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.
Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself. You need to climb a ladder to reach this room. Lofts are very popular with children but may not be suitable for adults or elderly guests.

You will be charged for the amount of electricity, water, gas and other utilities that you use – the local agent will perform the relevant meter readings upon your arrival and when you depart. However you will need to prepay a deposit of €25.00 per night on arrival. If your usage costs less than the amount you have prepaid then you will get a refund when you depart; however if you have used more than you have prepaid then you will be asked to pay the balance.
