This home is surrounded by the feel of the sea and wind and is in an exclusive location, as you are very close to water that begins right behind the private terrace. The Baltic Sea Resort called Olpenitz is located right on the sail boat and sports-boat marina. The landscape on which this home is constructed stretches till the Baltic Sea. Just a few holiday homes are located in this heavenly, panoramic region. This duplex home is a Tudor-style house and is modern and comfortably furnished. Living room has a luxuriously large kitchen, cosy fireplace and high-quality furniture area that is open for the sunlight to flow through the entire home. The interiors and exteriors of this home seem to merge and provide a special feel-good atmosphere. This semi-detached duplex home is equipped with a beautiful wooden terrace right on the waterfront, from where you can enjoy a unique panoramic view of Schlei Bay, Baltic Sea and the marina. Also enjoy fascinating views from the balcony on the top floor. This home is ideal for couples as each bedroom on the top floor has a separate bathroom. This home also guarantees privacy. There is also an additional guest toilet on the ground floor.Please note that the Olpenitz Baltic Sea Resort is still under construction. Restaurants and cafes are not available and the access roads are not completely connected to the main routes. The construction of building with homes in the immediate vicinity is completed already, but the access road to this building is still under construction. The direct view of Baltic Sea is naturally pristine, wonderful and priceless but some angels in a few areas (view of the mainland and view overlooking Schlei Bay) lack the vision as the property is still under construction. The nearby area of these homes is the construction site and the property includes a temporary parking lot. Children must be carefully supervised due to the ongoing construction activities. Rental price is calculated based on the construction situation. Other discounts are excluded. Baltic Sea is located near this home, but as the strength of the waves in the region have not yet been determined, this region is not officially open for swimming. There is a small bay located just 300 metres from this home and the kilometre-long Baltic Sea Beach that stretches till Schönhagen and maintained by DLRG is quickly accessible from here. The entire family can enjoy swimming in the shallow bay waters. Other half of this semi-detached duplex home can be booked under DSH456. Please note that the bedspreads in the house have special size 155x200 cm.

This beautiful modern house is made from wood and was recently built in 2012. The agent has rated it as a five star property so it is one of their best houses - tastefully furnished and fully equipped. It is also great value for money. This house has beautiful panoramic view over water; it is also only 8km from Kappeln. It is set in a very convenient location, just 500 metres away from a sandy beach. There's also a restaurant 3km away.

You can also park on-site at no extra charge. The house is well equipped: it has a refrigerator, washing machine and dishwasher. It also has some garden furniture outside.

You will receive full details about your booking including directions to the property and a booking voucher that you need to hand over to the property manager when you receive the keys. In some instances you may need to collect the keys from the property manager’s office or some other location which is not the actual property you have booked to stay in. Please note that the agent provides us with the GPS co-ordinates in the travel directions and we communicate these to you; you should contact the property manager if these are unclear.

The exact dimensions will vary from property to property but the agent has specified that bed sizes are as follows:

  • A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.

A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.

Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself. You need to climb a ladder to reach this room. Lofts are very popular with children but may not be suitable for adults or elderly guests.
