Enjoy peaceful holidays and pure relaxation in a magnificent hiking area surrounded by beautiful nature at 750m above sea level, away from noise and traffic. The quaint Black Forest farm called "Sägehof" was built in the 1697th He stands with granary, mill, bakehouses listed building and offers a lot of meadows, pastures and forests around it the ideal place for your rest. Even for an active vacation with the E-bike or mountain bike the yard is ideal.  The farm's own natural pond invites to swim and run around one. There are a table tennis, children's play area including a small trampoline and outdoor seating area for common use.  The apartment is on the first floor of a new house on the site of the court: it is a so-called Leibgedinghaus, a home that is traditionally built as a residence for the "older generation" of the courts. On the ground floor the owner lives in the first floor there are two apartments, each with a private balcony. (Neighboring apartment: DBW119)  Your apartment is fully equipped: in the kitchen you will find the corkscrew to microwave everything you need for cooking and eating pleasurable - even kettle and toaster.  From all faucets healthy, fresh Black Forest water comes from its own source.  The resort of Hornberg with its local low water and Reichenbach are in Gutachtal - a side valley of the Kinzigtal valley. Here is the cradle of the famous Black Forest Bollenhutes and Hornberger shooting. Easily reached by train on the famous Black Forest Railway, Hornberg is the ideal starting point for activities and excursions of any kind. With a redesigned downtown Hornberg invites you to stroll and linger. Distinctive towers of the historic Schlossberg with the ruins above the city, from where you have a unique view of the largest living model railway: Hornberg with the viaduct and the famous Black Forest Railway. The possibilities are endless: whether to attend a performance of the open-air stage, probably the world's biggest toilet in the Duravit Design Center or Hornberger watch games. Here, nature and culture combined. The exact dimensions will vary from property to property but the agent has specified that bed sizes are as follows:

  • A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.

A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.

Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself. You need to climb a ladder to reach this room. Lofts are very popular with children but may not be suitable for adults or elderly guests.
