This very special holiday home is located at a short walking distance from the beautiful Glücksburg Beach. The cottage set in a former artist's studio has been transformed into a comfortable holiday house with great attention to detail, so that the guests can enjoy a great stay in the dreamlike Baltic Sea location. Instead of an artistic place of inspiration, it is now a retreat for holidaymakers looking for something special: the loft-like living room is decorated in modern style and is cosy and comfortable. The stylish concrete floor has charming colour traces of previous artistic work, along with a thick carpet and the large sofa landscape. The holiday home in Glücksburg is available for a minimum of just two nights and offers a perfect accommodation for a lovely holiday on the Baltic Sea. A spiral staircase in the middle of the living area leads to the first floor with an open, bright loft and a bedroom. The bedroom is separated from the living area by a door, which offers ample peace and privacy. A cosy reading chair awaits you here. The windows are equipped with fly screens and blackout blinds. Two people can enjoy a comfortable holiday with ample space, light and fresh air here. The surrounding area and architecture here are inspiring. The romantic and completely renovated old building with rambling roses and lattice windows is perfectly symbiotic with the modern interiors. The house is somewhat set away from the road and is nestled on a large park-like garden with many old fruit trees and various seating areas; hence you will always find a cosy place in the sunlight! At times, the garden is used by the residents of the adjacent villa; however, it is so large that one can always find a cosy place with lots of privacy. You can enjoy barbecue on the garden (barbecue should be brought along). A small, private relaxing area in front of the house is available for private use and is ideal for relaxation with the fresh breeze from the Baltic Sea. Private sun loungers are available in the summer months. Because of the perfect location, this holiday house in Glücksburg offers innumerable opportunities for recreation: the popular and well known Glücksburger Beach can be reached in five minutes by walking - here you can cool off in summer around the Baltic Sea or let the wind caress your face during fall. Some cafes and restaurants are situated right on the beach. The charming city-centre of Glücksburg with its famous castle, cosy cafes and shops is 1.5 km away and invites you to an evening stroll or a small bicycle tour. The Fördeland Therme is located five minutes walk away from the house - here you can spend a wonderfully relaxed day in the sauna world, keep fit in the sports pool or explore the adventure pool of Therme. Even if the weather is not favourable, the guests can still enjoy a wide range of facilities. How about a shopping trip to Flensburg or a wonderful hike on the peninsula Holnis with the large nature reserve or a bike ride to Denmark; the region always has something to do!

The house is located in Gluecksburg, only 1.5km from Glücksburg. It is set in a very convenient location, just 250 metres away from a sandy beach. There's also a restaurant only 300 metres away.

The exact dimensions will vary from property to property but the agent has specified that bed sizes are as follows:

  • A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.

A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor.
