Directly opposite, ferries depart for the North Sea islands of Amrum and Föhr. From the nearby harbor in Schlüttsiel (about 8km) you can also reach the small Halligen Hooge and Langeneß quickly and easily by boat.
Dagebüll is also ideally situated for a day trip to Sylt, because from neighboring Niebüll (approx. 12 km) you can easily take the train directly to Westerland in only half an hour. The town of Niebüll also offers a great cultural and leisure offer for young and old with various museums as well as a beautiful natural bathing area. Sports and shopping facilities are also available here.
