This exclusively designed holiday apartment is in the erstwhile monument called Prora Solitaire located near the Baltic Coast. The luxuriously furnished holiday apartment is located just a few steps from the most beautiful beach of Rügen and provides comfort and relaxation throughout the year. This building is one of the largest monuments in Germany that has been converted into a holiday paradise. The holiday resort has modern apartments with sophisticated design on the long, dream-like beach (7 km) in Prorer Wiek. You can find various chalk cliffs on the coast in Caribbean style with crystal clear water. Various cafes, restaurants and small shops for everyday needs are located along the beach boardwalk. Relax in the fresh air with a glass of wine on the private terrace or enjoy a cappuccino in the Prora Solitaire cafe in the morning or enjoy sunset at the end of a beautiful day on the beach. This holiday apartment provides high quality enjoyment and a feel good atmosphere. The exclusive furniture perfectly matches a good way of life with harmony and elegance. Each furniture and home accessory in this holiday apartment is carefully selected. The healthy room atmosphere and the non-allergic materials provide special comfort. From 2017 on, this holiday apartment in Prora Solitaire will have a park-like garden area with outdoor swimming pool, barbecue, recreation room and indigenous flora and fauna. This garden will be exclusive for guests of Prora Solitaire with a small pine forest that shields it from the beach and provides private space. Prora Solitaire is an oasis of peace for body, mind and soul throughout the year. A spacious spa will be available in Prora Solitaire from 2017 on. You can reach it from the apartment without having to leave the property. There will be not only a large indoor swimming pool with children’s pool but also various saunas and relaxation areas, gym with appropriate equipment and options for massages and other treatments. You can book for all these facilities in the reception area. You can park your cars in the underground garage at extra charge. There is a separate room with washing machine and dryer for all the guests on the second floor, which can be used at extra charge. Children’s high chair and cot are also available on rent. Various facilities on this property are under construction. Bakery, cafe/bar and a pizzeria will be available on the property from 2016.

This beautiful apartment was originally built in 1936 and refurbished in 2015. The agent has rated it as a five star property so it is one of their best apartments - tastefully furnished and fully equipped. It is also great value for money. This apartment has use of a shared pool and beautiful panoramic view over water; it is also only 5km from Binz. It is set in a very convenient location, just 80 metres away from a sandy beach. There's also a restaurant only 150 metres away.

When do I receive directions to the apartment and key collection information?
Directions and details on how to collect the keys will be emailed to you after you have paid for the booking in full. You will receive full details about your booking including directions to the property and a booking voucher that you need to hand over to the property manager when you receive the keys. In some instances you may need to collect the keys from the property manager’s office or some other location which is not the actual property you have booked to stay in. Please note that the agent provides us with the GPS co-ordinates in the travel directions and we communicate these to you; you should contact the property manager if these are unclear.
Bed sizes / bedrooms
The exact dimensions will vary from property to property but the agent has specified that bed sizes are as follows:
- A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
- A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
- A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.
A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.
Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself. You need to climb a ladder to reach this room. Lofts are very popular with children but may not be suitable for adults or elderly guests.
If a property has an annexe then it will typically be a building attached to the main property or a small self-contained building. Annexes often have no central heating.
