Villa overview - owner's description

This five bedroom holiday home was once an 18th Century stone wine cellar. It now offers plenty of space for a relaxing holiday in the picturesque Dordogne region. The home's entrance leads directly to the large living and dining area and open-plan kitchen. From here, three steps take you down to the first double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and side door which leads to side gate for access to the outside swimming pool and lawn area. The second double bedroom is also accessed via the main living room and has an en-suite shower room. A corridor take you to separate toilet and patio doors, which lead to the outside terrace and pool area. A little further along, situated behind the kitchen, you will find the twin room with mezzanine twin beds, which is light and thoughtfully designed with four single beds on two levels and a door leading to the front garden. Please note, the ceiling in the mezzanine is quite low, so the mezzanine is better suited for children. The fourth bedroom has a double bed and is located at the opposite end of the corridor. Both of the bedrooms shared a separate toilet and shower room. Just to the left of the house is a cottage with fitted kitchen and dining facilities, a downstairs bathroom (with second washing machine) and a double bedroom on the first floor. Lac de Gurcon - home to pony rides, fishing opportunities and a waterpark - is located approximately 10km away. St Foy- le Grande is 9km away and St Meard de Gurcon is 2km away; here you can find evening markets and a supermarket.
