Set within a stunning wine domain in the beautiful region of Languedoc-Roussillon, this lovely one bedroom holiday home enjoys wonderful views of the vineyards and olive trees. The one bedroom apartment is situated on the first floor and benefits from access to the large swimming pool. The apartment has been thoughtfully furnished and is very well presented and includes a large balcony, which is ideal for al fresco dining.Although the apartment enjoys a wonderfully tranquil setting, the lively town of Saint Ambroix is only 600 metres away, with its shops, restaurants and bars - some of which are situated on the pretty banks of the River Ceze (1.5km away). The holiday home is also well-located for day trips to nearby towns and points of interest including the Cevennes regional nature park to the west, and the Gorges de l’Ardèche to the east. Highly recommended is a visit to the Pont du Gard, which is considered to be one of the wonders of the ancient world; the famous aqueduct is roughly a one hour drive from the holiday home. A trip to the charming town of Uzés is also popular with guests - especially those wishing to visit the impressive Saturday market, which takes over the whole of the town centre. The historical towns of Nîmes and Avignon are both within 80km and the nature park of La Camargue is slightly further afield. The nearest shop and restaurant is within 0.7km and the nearest café/bar is within 0.5km.

  • A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.

A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.

Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself. You need to climb a ladder to reach this room. Lofts are very popular with children but may not be suitable for adults or elderly guests.

If a property has an annexe then it will typically be a building attached to the main property or a small self-contained building. Annexes often have no central heating.
