Positives-The house was very well equipped and clean. The historical town of Portiragnes had everything that we needed on a daily basis. Supermarkets were a short drive away. The house was perfectly located for visits to Beziers, Adge, Montpellier, Perpignan, fair at Vias plage, Canal du Midi etc. Our "neighbours" from France, Belgium and England were respectful regarding night time and early morning noise. The pool was clean and well maintained and had great views over the fields. We had a reserved car parking place but there were many places to park near to the house as well. We were able to get a few English channels which was an unexpected bonus. The beach at Protiragnes Plage was clean, had life guard supervision and separate areas for dog owners. There were opportunities for watersports and visits to beach cafes.
Negatives-The house was booked mainly for it's advertised close walking proximity to the beach. However a car was definitely needed . The suggested road to walk was a bit isolated/not used by many walkers so I didn't feel comfortable letting my teenage girls walk alone the much longer than 2km distance.

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Tessa! The villa is well equipped and clean. The pool is not really a large one, but nice for a visit after comming back from sight seeing trip.
The shortest way to the beach ist about 4km, so a little bit far by foot. But there are good bus connections from Portiragnes to Portiragnes Plage during the main season. We hired bikes (bike rentals e.g. at Port. Plage or Vias) - nice for trips along the Canal du Midi and also to the beach (10 minutes).

We enjoyed our second time at Villa Tessa and the lovely area.
It was clean, well equipped with good shower, comfortable beds, lovely Terrace and BBQ area. Pool was nice but busy large part of the day and a lot of wasps disturbing fun to remain longer.
Negatives: Noisy dog in opposite villa!
I think we go back next year.
Please note the people & dogs in the Villa oposite have now left.

The first time in Villa Tessa, but for 10 Years in Portiragnes/plage.
Villa Tessa looks excact as on the pictures. Everything is compleet and if there are any problems it will be fixed in a short time.
During the stay it was quiet on the property so we have lots of space in the pool.
Sure we go back next year

Was very clean, well equipped, good shower, comfortable beds, lovely patio and BBQ area, lots of info at hand to plan for excursions etc...Pool lovely in early morning and later evening! Close to village centre and small supermarket. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again, and would recommend it to others if the negatives below dont put them off.
Further from nearest beach than website stated, 1.5 hours walk / 5 km distance. Car hire a must. Pool was nice but busy large part of the day (summer season), No sun loungers to sit on. Noisy dog in opposite villa .
Villa Tessa is 2km from the beach at Portiragnes Plage. A long sandy beautiful beach. Approx 30min walk.

Pros: We enjoyed our stay at Villa Tessa and surrounds. Lovely area. Villa comfortable and clean. Lots to do in the locality.
Cons: Pool was a bit small for the number of people around but the kids liked it anyway. Bring towels ... they only provide one small towel each! And no toaster.
No one to meet you when you arrive. Luckily we met a nice neighbour who showed us around. Found the welcome book on day 4 under a pile of books!
A toaster has now been purchased for the villa. We didnot realise anyone would use one with all the lovely french bread and croissants freshly available in the village. 1 bath towel per person is provided in the villa. We do not provide a meet and greet service as this would incur extra cost to the holidaymaker, but provide detailed directions to the villa, and a file of useful information is kept in the villa.
