A friend who had stayed at La Cour last year recommended it to us as a great base for our family. In fact, we were so pleased to have found it and it looked so lovely the rest of the family came too! We stayed in both barns, Wisteria and Woodland View and we loved every minute. I can understand now why it was so highly recommended. The converted barns were wonderful, very comfortable, spotlessly clean and every last detail has been thought of. They were both very child friendly (important when you have toddlers in tow!) and the free WiFi was very welcomed by the older kids. The big private gardens were great for the children to play games and us grown ups to sit and relax, we had lots of enjoyable BBQ’s. The amazingly helpful information guides were used to plan ourselves a fun filled week, it was definitely not long enough so we are now discussing dates to come in 2018. We all loved our trips out on the bicycles (there are so many to choose from!) the little ones were so excited to ride in the child trailers, the lanes are so quiet and the towpath along the river was great, we absolutely loved the playground and the great little café bar alongside the river. Now we have found La Cour I thought we had better share this marvellous gem (sorry it has taken so long to do it!) with those looking for a relaxing, family friendly holiday in a great area with plenty to do. Thanks again, looking forward to our holiday next year already!

“The most perfect place to stay” Reviewed July 27, 2014 for a stay in July 2014 I would highly reccommend this gite to anyone, it was excellent. Tony and Maria were very welcoming. Liked best: The peaceful setting and the gite was beautifully presented. Liked least: Theres nothing that disappointed us. Would I recommend this vacation rental to my best friend? Yes. "Another great holiday!" Our second visit to La Cour and this time Wisteria Barn. A beautiful, clean and comfortable cottage which is very well equipped and we would highly recommend. We love this area, so much to see and do and the cottage is in an ideal situation to reach everything. There is lots of information in the cottage with advice on best places to visit which is always a real help. We spent many wonderful evenings relaxing in the garden listening to the birds. Maria and Tony were as welcoming as ever. We will hopefully return soon! Sylvia, UK. Submitted to another site 15th August 2013, date of stay June 2013.

"Superb Family Holiday" A wonderful, relaxing holiday with many happy memories. Wisteria Barn was everything we hoped for for our family holiday. The barn was really comfortable, spotlessly clean, spacious, well furnished and equipped. It was perfect for our young children, there was plenty of space for them to play both indoors and outdoors in our own lovely private garden. The location is excellent, ideal for exploring this beautiful part of France. The village is very quaint and the boulangerie was great for croissants in the morning. Our family particularly enjoyed the bicycles, we loved being able to go out as a family with our youngest on one of the child seats provided and peddle along the quiet lanes and river. Maria and Tony were excellent hosts, always on hand if we needed anything but never intrusive. We would recommend Wisteria Barn without hesitation and are very much looking forward to returning soon. Lucas family, UK. Date review submitted to another site Nov 2013, date of stay August 2013.
