Delightful property with good facilities and level of comfort. Access to bicycles was a plus as the local terrain was easy. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Being at the eastern edge of Brittany, some of the region's attractions were some distance away, but those that were easily accessible were varied and attractive.

I’m not normally one to write a review but after such a wonderful holiday I feel compelled to share our experience! I currently live in France and we wanted to have a big family holiday together with our relatives from the UK and as our own house isn’t nearly big enough we decided to rent some holiday cottages together. La Cour was everything and more than we had hoped for. We stayed in Jasmine Cottage, Wisteria Barn and Woodland View Barn. Each of the properties were so very special, each has been tastefully renovated, really well-presented, very comfortable for our large group and spotlessly clean. They are all really well-equipped and offer everything needed for a family holiday, they were a perfect base for our stay. Maria and Tony have made such a good job or thinking of all the things you need. The gardens were amazing with pergolas and plenty of space for the children run around and play. The bikes were such a lovely addition, we spent a couple of days as a family on the bikes meandering around the lanes and we particularly loved the path alongside the river. The glorious weather meant lots of time at the lovely swimming lakes as well as the outdoor pools which the children loved. The area is lovely with so much to do, we did not have nearly enough time to explore everything. Thankyou Maria and Tony you were the perfect hosts, very warm and welcoming. We will certainly be back and definitely for 2 weeks next time!

We spent a week in Jasmine Cottage and loved every minute. The gite is beautiful and so well equipped with a lovely big garden, perfect for eating outside and for the children to play. Having the bikes at the gites was a fabulous addition to our holiday - we loved exploring the quiet country lanes and cycling to the village in the mornings for fresh croissants! Our son even learnt to ride without stabilisers! Maria and Tony were absolutely perfect hosts and gave us such a lovely warm welcome. Their information packs about the area were invaluable and we loved exploring the beautiful lakes with beaches, rivers, nearby towns and beaches. We are already planning our return visit and would highly recommend Jasmine Cottage for a fabulous family holiday.

“A real gem!” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2014 for a stay in May 2014 We booked Jasmine Cottage based on the recommendation of my parents who had stayed in Walnut Cottage last year and loved it. We too now feel like we have discovered a real gem. The cottage was full of charm and character, very clean and comfortable, well-presented and equipped and perfect for our family holiday. The garden was great for our young children to play in and one of the highlights of our stay was our trips out on the bicycles with our youngest in one of the child trailers available (there were loads of bikes to choose from and free to use!) The area offers plenty to do, we particularly loved the lakes. The owners were really welcoming and very helpful. We would have no hesitation recommending it and hope ourselves to return again soon. Liked best: Superb cottage, great location Liked least: Having to leave to come home! Traveling group: Young Children Would you recommend this hotel to a friend? Yes.

"Lovely cottages" We love La Cour so much weve been twice! We had a lovely time at Jasmine Cottage this year (and at Walnut Cottage last year). Our children loved the big gardens at the cottages and the bikes (our 7 year old loved cycling to the Boulangerie with her Daddy every morning for our croissants) and they have made friends to play with each year. There is something for everyone in this region, our children loved the nearby lakes with beaches, but the coast is only about 40 mins away so not too far to trek if you want waves. There are some beautiful market towns to visit and while away some time shopping and eating lunch! Vannes is a lovely medieval town with some interesting streets and shops, you can also sit and have a drink overlooking the boats. The cottages themselves are very clean and well equipped, Maria and Tony are perfect hosts and very helpful if ever any help or advice was needed. We would thoroughly recommend a visit to La Cour. Highly recommended" Once again we thoroughly enjoyed our return visit to La Cour and Jasmine Cottage. Accommodation Excellent, very clean and well-presented. Lots to see and do, roads very quiet for driving. Tony and Maria always make us feel very welcome. Highly Recommended ! Barty, UK. "A lovely place" Tony and Maria were very friendly and welcoming on arrival. Jasmine Cottage was pretty, well maintained and immaculately kept. The kitchen was very well equipped, the furnishings comfortable and there were numerous folders full of maps and information about interesting places to visit. We had a great holiday and enjoyed the use of the bikes (a great number to choose from and easy child-friendly cycling nearby) and our enclosed garden. Our hosts were helpful, making sure everything was comfortable for our stay. We highly recommend this gite for a get-away-from-it-all break! A, M &T, UK. My wife and I have just returned from spending a week at Jasmine Cottage which is one of four cottages that are available at La Cour in Masserac. We arrived to a very warm welcome by Maria and Tony who own and manage the lovely cottages that they have spent many hours developing to a very high standard to accommodate their guests. Our cottage was as described and very clean, providing everything that we needed for our stay. The location outside the village was very quiet, private and ideal for relaxing with a good book accompanied with a glass of local cider or wine. Having relaxed and wishing to explore more of the area the location is ideal for a walk or cycle to the village or the lovely orchards and beautiful countryside. On days out and within a 40 to 60 minute drive we managed to see all the villages, market towns and eat at local restaurants. This is a good base to have to get the best of peace and quiet and involve yourself in real French way of country life. Maria and Tony have worked hard to develop their business and both will no doubt succeed in making it work as they both have the skills and personalities to provide a facility that will satisfy their guests. They both have the passion and care to ensure your stay with them is a happy one. Having read other reviews they are achieving it. Taff, UK.
