The main living room has exposed stone walls and oak beams, all of which complements the original tiled floor and orginal features. The lounge area has a comfortable sofa and armchairs with a log burner that can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. Television (English and French), DVD, CD Player, Radio, books are all provided. Adjoining the living room is the large kitchen/dining area comfortably seating four. An original stone staircase leads to the first floor where the bedrooms are located.
The cottage comprises of 2 double bedrooms upstairs for up to 4 people. All bedding, bed linen, hand & bath towels are provided. These are changed every week. Baby cot can be provided if required.

The cottage has 1 bathroom upstairs, which is newly fitted, with a large walk-in shower, orginal roll-top bath to relax in, wash basin and a heated towel rail.
The open plan kitchen is equipped to a high standard including gas oven and fitted gas hob, dishwasher, large fridge with useful size freezer compartment, microwave, kettle and toaster, as well as kitchen linen.
A good range of stainless steel saucepans and quality knife set in a block are provided. You will also find a washing machine, clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. There is plenty of cutlery, crockery, glassware and cooking utensils for four people.
There is a private courtyard with a table and four chairs. A barbecue and utensils are provided for your use.
There is also use of an external storage / drying room.
You can park your car in the drive next to the cottage.
The cottage is open all of the year, is centrally heated, and makes an ideal base for house hunting. Introductions with local agents can be arranged.

Only one hours drive from the airports of Toulouse, Rodez and Carcassonne. Your holiday will be enjoyed in an area of outstanding beauty, traversed by rivers and blessed by very quiet roads. Nestled in a small village the cottage is only 3 km from village of Cahuzac sur Vere where all shopping facilities, tourist offices, garages, banks, doctors, dentists, pharmacies can be found. Cordes and Gaillac are less than 10mins away with Albi with Toulouse Lautrec museme only 20mins away
The area is blessed with superb countryside and historic sites. There are several "bastide" villages all within a short drive. Gaillac, the local market town and wine centre of the AOC region has a weekly market, as do many smaller local villages. Cordes Sur Ciel, one of the most visited heritage sites of France, is only 5 minutes by car. The towns of Albi, Toulouse, Carcasonne and Millau Bridge offer many cultural and various entertainment and spectaculars. For those wishing to cycle or walk the whole region is criss-crossed with ramblers routes and paths. Within half an hour there are two very good golf courses, and several first division (Top 14) rugby teams.
Water-based activities can be found at one of the local leisure complexes (base de loisirs). The complexes have a choice of lake or pool swimming, as well as other attractions. River canoeing through the Gorges de l'Aveyron is offered by several companies based in St-Antonin-Noble-Val, yet another beautiful village
