Lovingly restored Grange located close to Beaune in traditional burgundy style. Aimed at those looking for a luxurious break away from home in an area renowned for its fine wine and food.
The Grange is a restored burgundian stone house, 200/300 years old, peacefully nestling amongst the famous vineyards of Burgundy. Close to Beaune, in the heart of the Cote d’or.
On the ground floor, there is a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, lounge and a wc. The lounge opens via french windows directly onto the terrace overlooking the swimming pool. The swimming pool is heated and is large enough for some swimming. There are sun loungers and a table for dining on this terrace.
An oak staircase leads from the lounge to a mezzanine with additional seating for relaxing.
This leads to a double bedroom with views over the garden. The luxury bathroom facilities have been thoughtfully integrated into one corner of this room.
The property has be furnished in a modern but classic style which is very sympathetic to the environment and age of the building.
The garden is on 3 levels and is filled with flowers and shrubs. There are plenty of places to rest and relax, and a barbecue is available for use. We own both the main house and the grange, the main house is not rented out and we will not be there during your stay. This means that you have a very private property not overlooked by any neighbours. The gardens and pool are looked after by contractors and are therefore maintained very well.
Beautifully restored grange with swimming pool, 10 minutes from Beaune in the village of Echevronne. Ideally located for exploring the wine region.

My husband and I stayed at the Grange for a month, and enjoyed every minute. The village is charming, quiet and authentic. It is very close to Beaune as well to the many small villages, all of which merit investigation. The beautiful Burgundian vineyards, both North and South of Beaune are easily accessible.
The house is beautifully renovated to accommodate two people perfectly. While the location of the bedroom upstairs / bathroom down is not ideal, it works, and maximizes the space and light. The kitchen was completely adequate for two people without the desire to cook elaborate dinners, and the dining area convenient. The living room and patio by the pool are charming. The internet was very satisfactory. The pool was well maintained, and delightfully private. The property is lovely. The owners were most helpful and accommodating.
I heartily recommend this property to anyone seeking a peaceful holiday in the country. Our days were spent bicycling through the surrounding countryside, and we developed a number of spectacular routes. But others would find different ways to enjoy this beautiful house and region.

The owner ( Michael) met us at the property and provided some essential supplies, opened a bottle of wine and went over the local area restaurants, supermarkets etc , this was extremely welcoming after the long drive from the UK.We couldnt have hoped for a better situated or furnished property, complete with its` own heated pool. It was in a quiet village which is precisely what we were after, but still only 10 minutes drive to the centre of Beaune, fantastic. Its well situated for travelling around the area making the most of the local food and wine.

A wonderful place in a superb location, it is truly special. The cottage is furnished to an excellent standard with a high quality finish and a beautiful place to stay. The private pool is also excellent and is big enough to swim in and relax. Weather you want a romantic break just to chill out and do nothing or get out and about, you couldn’t ask for a better location.
The Grange itself is in a wonderful position surrounded by rolling countryside covered in miles upon miles of vineyards all waiting to be explored. This I would highly recommend, the wines are wonderful and of excellent quality and the location of the property actually makes it possible to walk to the winery’s if you fancy tasting some of the local and best wines around. The local villages are also easily accessible with a copious amount of quality restaurants serving amazing and gastronomic food. To sum it up I’d say book it and go and love it for what it is. You will have a fantastic time it is a wonderful place and we can’t wait to go again.

What a lovely home and idyllic place for a vacation. The house is well thought out, and beautifully cared for. The town of Echevronne and community of Beaune were exactly what we were looking for in our vacation, relaxation, beauty, charming authenticity, wine, bicycling, amazing food. We loved The Grange and hope to return some day very soon.
What a cracker!
Lovely cottage just right for two people. The pool is set in a real suntrap, and the garden is lovely, with lots of shady areas to sit and read if that is your thing.
Everything is done in the best possible taste.
Wish it was ours :-)
