Set in the traditional heart of Brittany, this beautiful holiday cottage has been lovingly renovated to a high standard, which ensures that it is the perfect hideaway for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. The house was constructed using typical, local materials and the interior is now a lovely blend of modern furnishings alongside the home's original features. It boasts a well-maintained garden, complete with small splash pool, which is surrounded by farmland. The cottage is a great choice for guests who enjoy outdoor living as it boasts a canopied outdoor kitchen and barbecue area, complete with firepit for the cooler evenings, in the attractive courtyard. Inside, the ground floor includes a kitchen, a bathroom and two living areas; the farmhouse style kitchen is very well-equipeed and includes an American-style fridge and a range cooker. The two living areas both include logburners and are fantastic spots to curl up with a good book or enjoy an afternoon nap. Upstairs, the main bedroom includes a king size bed as well as a single folding bed (only suitable for children aged 4-11). There is also another bedroom and a bathroom. Explore the local countryside, and discover the region's pretty rivers, woodland, charming villages and local markets. The local area can be explored by either bike or car - the roads here are quiet, which makes driving very easy. A day at the beach at the elegant resorts of Pleneuf or Erquy is highly recommended. Please note, the television offers French and English TV channels.

The exact dimensions will vary from property to property but the agent has specified that bed sizes are as follows:

  • A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.

A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.

Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself. You need to climb a ladder to reach this room. Lofts are very popular with children but may not be suitable for adults or elderly guests.
