Villa overview - owner's description

This semi detached holiday home offers a 100m² garden and a swimming pool which, although located on the owner’s side, is private for the guests. You will also enjoy a shaded terrace with a BBQ and garden furniture, protected by a massif pine tree. The house is located in a quiet residential area, on the heights of the old feudal and fortified village of Châteauneuf de Gadagne. The interior has been entirely renovated in a contemporary style. You will be close to the papal city of Avignon, with its palace, its ramparts and the famous broken bridge and Isle sur la Sorgue also known as the "Venice of Provence", with its antique shops, artists and many terraces along the canals where the clear waters of the Sorgue run peacefully. You can taste the famous AOC Côtes du Rhône wines such as Gigondas, Vacqueyras and Chateauneuf du Pape. Nearby, do not miss the majestic Mont Ventoux, the Luberon and its Regional Natural Park with its charming hilltop villages classified as "the most beautiful in France", such as Gordes, Bonnieux and Oppède le Vieux. In the evening, you will enjoy the night markets, particularly the one of Velleron, and many festivals, such as the ones in Avignon (theatre), Aix-en-Provence (lyric arts) and Orange (the world famous Chorégies).

Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself. You need to climb a ladder to reach this room. Lofts are very popular with children but may not be suitable for adults or elderly guests.

If a property has an annexe then it will typically be a building attached to the main property or a small self-contained building. Annexes often have no central heating.
