Great vacation home with private pool. Located in Cessenon-sur-Orb, a small winegrowing village on the river and only 35 km from the sea. The well-secured pool invites you to lots of swimming fun and you can relax and let your children play in the enclosed garden while you prepare the evening barbecue dinner, which you will surely have on your elevated and sheltered terrace overlooking the renowned Saint-Chinian wine region. One of the bedrooms is very spacious and has a walk-in closet and an adjoining shower room. Another bedroom offers direct access to the terrace. The pool, located further down, is surrounded by a sunny terrace with comfortable sun loungers. Here also an arbor offers protection from the strong rays of the sun. Cessenon, one of the oldest villages in the Languedoc, is reflected in the waters of the Orb. Its core invites you to stroll through cozy alleys and attracts with pleasantly shaded café terraces. You can take advantage of the river either on foot or on a canoe trip. On the way you can cool off in the water. To see in the village is a copy of the New York Statue of Liberty. This curiosity was originally the figurehead of a ship. Northeast of the accommodation runs a marked hiking trail that takes you through a beautiful eucalyptus forest. The cathedral in Montouliers (30 km) also leaves a lasting impression. The special thing about it are especially its many ornaments made of wood. Near Cébazan, Assignan and Villespassans or on the hiking trails between Saint-Chinian and the Canal du Midi there are several centuries-old megaliths to discover. Take a nice walk along the Canal du Midi or lie down 40 minutes away on one of the beaches of Valras. There, the Musée de la Maquette also attracts visitors with a colorful world of Lego on an area of 200 m²: not only to the delight of the youngest vacationers. After a relaxing afternoon at the Plage des Mouettes or the Plage de Vendres, both very fine sandy beaches, adult vacationers can put their luck to the test at the casino. Those who value a lot of peace and quiet are in good hands on the beach of the Orpellières nature reserve with its elongated dunes.
