Ideas of visits to be made in the area?

Initially a true council for a stay with Cancale: time can change quickly into better or less better.
If the weather is nice: profit in forthwith, it is very risky to wait!
If it rains, not of panic: the situation can be raised quickly.
The variety of local curiosities contributes to this adaptation.

The traditional ones
St Malo: its ramparts, corsairs, Chateaubriant
Dinard: its beach and the walk with the moonlight.
Dinan and its medieval scenery. Do not forget Jerzual and its craftsmen.
The Mount Saint Michel: to visit day as with fallen the night (visit in the enlightened Abbey)

The large aquarium of Malo Saint is interesting and very ludic
The castle of Bourbansais (between St Malo and Rennes) is a property including a zoo and a castle

On cancale, the site of the Beach of the Orchard (plage du Verger)(fine sand) is very sympathetic.
The point of Grouin enables you to take a good bowl of air near the house! The chemin des douaniers (ways of the customs officers) in edge of coast are sportsmen and very pretty.
You will find in the house (and with the tourist bureau) a complete documentation with descriptions of ballades.
For the walkers, to start from the house, walk around the Pointe of Grouin is very pleasant. To take the street of Tintiaux (almost opposite the house) which joined the wild side of the Pointe To join the Pointe of the grouin either while skirting the road or by the chemin des Douaniers (way of the customs officers) To return to Port-Mer by the way of the customs officers.

beautiful holiday home, very good reception, very nice environment, good location, definitely recommended!

Drew May 2019

arrival good accommodation v good surrounding fantastic very bad point swimming pool heater not working no pool cover

Rogers Aug 2018

this property is very good for sandy beach, three reasonable restaurants, and a sailing/water sports school, very good for families, unfortunately thought there are a few things that need addressing, the main one being 140 euro bill for one weeks electric, this coupled with 70 euro, for pool water,85 euro cleaning, linen, and wifi etc. left us with extras of nearly 400 euro to pay at the end...ouch!! The pool cover was broken, so lost heat at night, hence the high electric bill, upstairs shower not attached properly, given wrong wifi code to start, cleaning of pool and upkeep need addressing, this would then be somewhere we would re book for many years..

Harte Aug 2018

The property was good, especially for a family. It was only a short drive from the St Malo ferry port and there was a lovely sandy beach nearby.

Moore Aug 2017

Madam Vidcoq was there to welcome us.

Weissenhorn Sep 2016

very nice website, only "access to the beaches is difficult for people with problems to move

Thierry Cornez Oct 2014

J "had already rented this house (both) there are fifteen" years. I "ve been happy to find it but I think that" it is imperative that "she undergo a refresh on the ground floor (painting, plumbing and oven in the kitchen that is obsolete.) Fortunately the house is very nice.

Van Hoof Aug 2014

It's a nice big apartment with large pool. The downside to the house is that they can use some refreshment. And get a thorough clean, overall it was just but we hit some bread from the previous occupants, and mold in a cooking pot.

Smets Jul 2014

We had a very nice holiday with family (children, grandchildren) they were good romp in the very large voortuinMet small children need constant supervision because the pool does not really closed wasMooie beaches nearby (plage Le Verger a 10 min drive out the nearest beach suitable for bathing pleasure port) many utensils (cutlery, plates, poteen) available kitchen and bathroom on the small side for many people), the dryer is outdated and makes a lot of noise mrwe were perfectly dry outside because the weather roamed around Mont saint Michel, Saint Malo visited Tasty oysters in Cancale lots of info and maps aanwezigde supervision star count and very helpful with information for emergency medical assistance

Christine May 2014

S "he had the most beautiful and hot, you could also enjoy the beautiful swimming pool .. it will be for next time, because we would definitely go back! Just a little flat max capacity is 10 people, if" we actually just ten, 2 bathrooms c "is a bit tight. Everything else was really perfect.

Fecken Apr 2014

Nice quiet holiday with friends and enjoyed five children aged 10 to 18 years. Eaten delicious oysters and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and beaches.

Koevermans Sep 2013

With friends and children in this house one week holiday celebrated. Lovely house to stay. Feel right at home. Lovely pool but we could only use 1 x because of the weather. After the electricity does this pay about 60 euros per week excluding heating water. So always comes on top of the rent. The setting is beautiful and the beach within walking distance. Cancale lovely place to eat. Super place so to celebrate a holiday. Multiperson

Steendijk Aug 2013

Fine house, cozy furnishings, plenty of cutlery and plates etc. Lovely private pool.

FRANKEN Aug 2013

The house and its surroundings met the expectations set by us, apart from a few comments (see below) for the owner. The house is really within walking distance of the sea and you have the ability to close to beautiful walks. Cancale has a charming harbor with lots of good restaurants where you do not like the very first tourist is treated and give you the feeling that you definitely want to come back. The immediate surroundings (Dinan, St Malo, Dinard, ...) is really worth to visit.

Korteweg Jun 2013

Had a great week, good food, especially oysters and mussels and enjoyed many of the area, Le Mont Saint Michel, Saint Malo and Dinan are recommended. Probably best time of year to visit these places because the number of tourists (RVs) now becoming difficult. Smaller places in and around Cancale themselves are worth a visit.

Penninx Sep 2011

We had a lovely week in this house with four pairs. We enjoyed the pool. We have lovely walks from the house by the sea. Also swimming in the sea was very nice. This house is a must for groups of friends.

Bordui Jul 2011

Nice house in a great location.

Mansson Jul 2011

We had a very nice holiday. The house is beautifully decorated and very cozy funcioneel. The location offers many possibilities for a great day out and it is 2 min away from the beach, nice to "sorting something to eat or drink. Near the center of Cancale, there are plenty of shops, wonderful bakeries and supermarkets enough. We zatten with 9 people and there was enough space in the Kammers for everyone.'s house is very clean! pool is also nice and in the garden you can relax very nice with lots of privacy. We did find the extra electricity costs a little high. This house is really a must!

Fresen Jul 2010

friendly service, large living area, nice swimming pool small bathroom, cleanliness on arrival should be improved

Van Der Valk May 2010

The house is in a quiet residential area of u200bu200bprivacy and freedom. It stands alone with another holiday of the same landlord on one lot, unfortunately this was not stated in the description. Another flaw is the fence of the pool, this is so outdated that it all down with a slight gust of wind blowing, so it is absolutely safe!

Brieler Jul 2008

Lovely cottage in a good location, one of the children is more suitable for younger children (bed length of about 1.80 m) thought. Diagonally opposite results in a larger holiday home park, then it might be a bit turbulent. Our children had all things in the beautiful pool fun.

Meussen Aug 2007

It was a convertible home, it is recommended that house. And the weather was ideal. And it's a very nice environment. And we enjoyed the pool. It is a must in a word.

Snoek Jul 2007

great holiday, very suitable for families with small children, swimming pool with sun loungers by fencing off from the garden / terrace. Beach on the bay with several restaurants just 100 meters. For the bakery and supermarket, you unfortunately have to Cancale (4 km).

Vervaat Jul 2007

A wonderful week in this house. Well located, nice pool and a large enough house. Eating at Restaurant

Go around the tip of Grouin taking the street in front of the house and along the coastal path up "at the tip and continuing to Port Sea

Van Herk Jul 2006

We have our entire family (Grandpa, Grandma, children and grandchildren) spent a week at La Perle.Het is a great house, cozy and functional, especially for small children all safe and beach dichtbij.Echt recommended if You hebt.Alfred something to celebrate with family and Marja van Herk

Backhouse Aug 2004

This is a superb property - extremely well-equipped, and much bigger and better presented than it looks in the photographs. The little bay, just a couple of minutes' walk away, is extremely picturesque, and has a choice of three snack bars/restaurants which seem to be open day and night in high season - very welcome after a long journey from England! Having never holidayed in France before we weren't sure of what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised by the very high standard of this accommodation, and by the facilities on offer in nearby Cancale - at least two large supermarkets and no end of restaurants. The old town of nearby St Malo is also well worth a visit. Obviously sea food is a must (our first experience of oysters), and the local cider has to be sampled at least once! The week we were there (last week of August/first of September) the circus (a traditional one with tigers, acrobats and clowns) was in town - the high point of our visit. Minor points to note: the pool was fairly expensive to heat, but having kept four young children entertained for most of the week, it was WELL worth it. Highly recommended.

Fernhout La Fleur Jul 2002

Lovely house with a nice, interim care by the owner, pool. The weather was great, two days off ontbeten.Dat the "evening cooled was known but not hinderlijk.Prima beds! For our family, grandpa, grandma two grandchildren under one year and two married children was an ideal house to still be received by dependent family members
