A lovely duplex split level apartment with a south facing balcony that hosts a table and chairs set and an amazing view of the mountains. If youre after an affordable ski holiday, then this self-catered studio/apartment sleeping up to 7 people close to Funicular at Les Arcs and Paradiski is perfect for you. Great location for fabulous skiing, summer mountain activities, restaurants and transport links. Ideally suited to the independent holiday maker looking for flexible and affordable accommodation.
Situated in Bourg Saint Maurice, Les Arcs and only 250 metres from the funicular, the apartment consists of a double sofa bed in the main room and 3 single bunks in a separate bedroom on the mezzanine and another double sofa bed on the Mezzanine living area. The apartment which has been modernised and pleasantly decorated is a short walk to a choice of bars, restaurants, shops and services in the town of Bourg Saint Maurice.
The ski area Les Arcs, is only a 7 minute journey up the mountain by funicular (free with your lift pass). Easy access to many other neighbouring resorts such as La Plagne and Tignes gives you ample choice to explore further afield.
The apartment is ideal for an affordable week or two away or availability allowing just a long weekends break.
In summer there are lots of mountain activities available (mountain biking, parascending, Kayaking, walking, golf and more) and the use of the outdoor pool within the apartment complex.

I stayed here for two weeks at the end of July 2014.
Booking the holiday was very easy - Russell was very quick to respond to emails and very patient as I floundered around confirming the dates. I drove to the apartment which took around 9 hours from Calais at French speed limits. I was there to both work and cycle so the fact that the apartment has a reliable internet connection was important.
The apartment is superbly located for cyclists and is central to a lot of the famous Tour climbs. Bourg St Maurice has good shops and supermarkets and plenty of restaurants which seemed reasonably priced.
The apartment isn’t huge and if you are going to make use of all the beds I’d suggest you spend most of your time out of it as 6 people would be a real crush – especially in the evening. For one person it was excellent, and for a family with two small children I’d imagine it would be fine too. The balcony has a nice view of the funicular and the Les Arcs mountain and is slightly shielded from the pool by a large tree. It gets sun for a lot of the day so drying clothes isn’t a problem!
The apartment complex is well protected with key-fob controlled access for both pedestrians and cars. The buildings and facilities aren’t new but they and the gardens are very well maintained and the pool is cleaned daily. The apartment is on the top floor so three flights up and it can get quite hot at night if you sleep in the top mezzanine level. But it wasn’t intolerable even when the outside temperatures got up to 30 degrees. The apartment was clean and tidy and you are expected to leave it in the same state when you head off at the end of the stay. I took my own duvet and pillows so I can’t comment on the ones that were there but they looked OK. The mezzanine-level double bed was comfortable.
The cooking facilities (two rings, a small oven/grill and a microwave) are rudimentary but sufficient. My only (small) issue was that the cooking utensils provided weren’t particularly new and were relatively cheap so the Teflon coatings were coming off most of them. I bought new ones to use whilst I was there because I needed to cook most meals myself as I’m on a somewhat unusual diet. For most people I’d imagine you’ll be eating out so this probably isn’t such a big issue (and in fairness I’ve never stayed at a rented apartment where this wasn’t the case).
Summary – a sound, very enjoyable apartment in a great location – ideal for cycling and, I imagine, skiing/boarding. Russell is great to deal with and keen to make sure you enjoy yourself – a nice change from some places I’ve stayed at.
Having stayed in an apartment previously in the Glieres complex (not owned by Russell and Evi) we were VERY pleased where we arrived at this apartment to find it spacious, clean and with everything we could have wished for. Russell was great at communicating leading up to the stay and and I hope we manage to get to go and stay again soon.
We had a great time. The apartment is well-equipped and convenient for the funicular and the owners could not have been more friendly or more helpful. Recommended!
This apartment is excellent, the position in the town of Bourg St Maurice, the actual building and facilities especially the pool are all very good. Our visit was in September and we were pleasantly surprised how bustling Bourg was . Had to contact the owners on a couple of occasions and Russell was fantastic and easy to contact and he also phoned back to make sure everything was ok. He went "the extra mile". We will definitely use this apartment again in summer and hopefully may get an extra ski holiday in too. Thank you Russell and Evi .
Arrived to the property late in the evening after a long day of travelling. The property was easy to find and in immaculate condition. All of the facilities worked well, including with internet. It feels like the owners really want you to enjoy your stay and the information pack provided was very useful and covered pretty much everything.
I would definitely stay again!
