5 out of 5 people recommend staying here

Family from Abergavenny, United Kingdom Aug 2014

We had to book last minute as our camping trip had to be cancelled due to our larger car breaking down and this gite was the only one we could find that let us book mid week to mid week and were great at corresponding via e mail leading up to our stay. The place was amazing value for money and in a peaceful village location with loads to see and do within a short drive. The hosts are very welcoming and as they are only next door were great to ask for local advice etc. The children stayed on pop up beds down stairs which was fine as most of the time was spent exploring the region and we would only be back to sleep. The main bedroom upstairs is very charming and the kitchen area has everything you could want. The region is packed with things to do from historical sites to swimming lakes, coastal beaches and woodland walks. We would definitely recommend a stay here. Thanks Nick and Mandy for a lovely stay.

We had a fantastic time at the gite, very peaceful location, comfy bed and Nick and Amanda couldnt have been more helpful or friendly. We think maybe a t.v would have been nice instead of just a video but other than that we would recommend it entirely. Some great places to visit especially the Mervent forest and Vouvant, also great for cycling.

Amanda and Nick were very welcoming, we had a couple of problems whilst away, the sleeping arrangements were not suitable for our 18 month old daughter so Nick and Amanda bought a travel cot for us to use.

Our rental cars air con broke down, Nick located the nearest garage for use though the internet which saved us a lot of trouble.

Thanks Nick and Amanda!
