Plenty of cafes and shops to enjoy whilst soaking up the atmosphere – visiting midweek is advised as weekends attract many coach trips.

A large hypermarket L’Eclerc is on the outskirts of the town – great for a big shop. Also home to the regions famous Blanquette – a great sparkly white wine.

Every evening except Mondays in season.
Domain Gayda – only 10 mins down the road towards Limoux. Fabulous wine domaine with some great wines. Good menu in a fabulous setting, quite high end, you could spend good money and still leave hungry (it’s one of those places!). Visit the website for more details: http://www.domainegayda.com/
