This wonderful modern penthouse apartment with roof terrace is in a very desirable area of the Universal district of Kato Paphos in a fairly quiet location, yet only a short walk from the many busy shops, bars, restaurants & amenities..
There is a furnished roof terrace with 360% views taking in the mountains & the sea.
The master bedroom with sea views has a double bed & fitted wardrobes with ample storage space. There is also a fully tiled en suite with shower.
The second bedroom has twin beds & also has fitted wardrobes with ample storage space & patio doors leading to a private gated terrace, taking in mountain views.
The main bathroom is also fully tiled & has a full length bath & shower.
The open plan kitchen/dining area is fully equipped with everything needed to cater for a large family, with many extras including a separate drinking water tap & has mountains views with the gated terrace outside.
There is a table & 6 chairs in addition to bar stools.
The lounge area with sea views has patio doors leading to the balcony, is furnished with table & chairs + sun beds & overlooks the communal area where there are gardens & two communal pools. It is tastefully furnished with two settees which will easily convert to double beds. There is also TV DVD player with a selection of dvds cds, books & games.

Internet available if required, this will enable you to view UK & Freeview channels on the TV through your laptop,netbook,phone etc.

Paphos is an all year round holiday destination with 330 days of sunshine every year,with temperatures rarely dropping below 59 degrees in winter, rising to an average of 90 degrees and in the summer, being ideal for sun worshippers and water sports enthusiasts.
This is a charming west coast town focussed around a picturesque harbour lined with boats and pleasure craft. Trips can be arranged from here.
The Troodos mountains can be reached easily by car, it is possible to ski & snowboard in the morning & go down to the beach to enjoy the watersports in the afternoon.

AREA & HISTORY:
The apartment is off the road leading to the Tomb of the Kings road and the beach is a pleasant walk.
The many bars and restaurants which are plentiful cater for everyone and are within easy walking distance.
Internet cafes are readily availablle.
There is a regular bus service in the Universal Area, also between Paphos and Coral Bay, the largest of the popular beaches, they will also take you to the Old Town and Market.
The history dates back to 8000 years BC and there are many places of historical and archaeological interest! This is the birth place of Aphrodite, Goddess of Beauty and Love. The Aphrodite Hills and Secret Valley are a short drive away. Many churches contain priceless icons and frescoes which are worth seeking out.

Excellent Property and Location
We found all of the information and service provided by the owner to be first class. Andrea was always very prompt and accurate with her emailed replies and nothing ever seemed to be any bother to her. The property is a 15 minute walk from the port, or 8.00 Euros in a taxi. The bus (which stops outside the front door of the appartment and goes right to the port) costs 1.50 Euros and were fairly regular at 15 minutes past the hour. The appartment is near enough to get involved with the various nightlife areas of Paphos if desired, but far enough away, to have a quiet holiday if that is what you are looking for. Most days we were the only people at the pool. Temperature was between 28 and 34 degrees Celsius throughout our holiday. Would recommed a day out to visit the ruins at Kourion near Limassol. My tip to any future guest would be to read the restuarant reviews in the literature and guest book, as the reviewer has already done the legwork and were generally fairly accurate on price and quality. The Moorings for cocktails and a 'people-watch'. The 'La Piazza' Italian for a meal - slightly pricey but excellent. All in all, we had a great and relaxing holiday and I would highly recommend this property and Andrea's service. I would have no hesitation returning here if holidaying in Paphos again.

Andrea's thought of everything!
This was our [Mum 86 and myself, son 64] third visit to Sunisland S1 [by the way I think it's Sun Island - took us a bit of time to work it out!]. The flat is like coming back home - the flat is nicely decorated, very clean and everything is there. The welcome basket, including wine is very much appreciated especially when arriving late. Wi fi [extra charge] was excellent. And Andrea is excellent to deall with, answering any queries/problems directly. Only negatives are the close proximity of a quite busy and sometimes noisy road and the views from the front and rear balconies over brownfield sites aren't great. But as I said , this is our third time back so not major problems for us. Thanks again, Andrea

We have stayed in a lot of self catering apartments over the years and sun island rates one of the best everything you need even beach towels good location close to restaurants and the sea good comunication from Andrea from start to finish everything you need for a quite and peaceful holiday thank you very much andrea

The apartment is thoroughly to be reccomended it is clean and it has everything you will need, very comfortable beds, very easy to keep clean, a lovely pool, about 20 minutes stroll away from the harbour. Super.

This is by far the most comprehensively equipped apartment I have ever stayed in, there was even an electric juicer. how good is that !!! Andrea could not be more helpful with advice and useful information. She was an absolute pleasure to deal with, nothing was too much trouble. The apartment is spacious and well appointed being set within a small complex complete with swimming pool. The walk to the harbour and sea front is a pleasant 10-15 minute stroll. However, the bus stop is right outside the complex, so very convenient if you do not wish to walk. I would certainly recommend this apartment. It is the best I have ever stayed in, and there has been quite a few along the way!!
