Diana Gardens 2 Bedroom Ground Floor Apt next to Pool


Luxury 2 bedroom ground floor apartment, equipped for up to 6 adults or 4 adults and 4 children.
Full air-conditioning throughout is available at extra cost.
There is a large communal pool just 10 metres from patio entrance.
4 sun-loungers with mattresses are provided, and there is a private car parking space.
The apartments location is particularly suitable for the elderly or infirm, and families with young children - no stairs or lifts to negotiate!

Both bedrooms have floor-to-ceiling built-in wardrobes with internal drawers and lots of storage, and remote-controlled air-con units which can double as heaters.
The fully equipped kitchen has a washing machine, fridge-freezer, oven & hob, microwave, toaster, sandwich toaster & electric kettle. A hair dryer, iron & ironing board are also provided.
The bathroom has a jacuzzi bubble bath with shower head fitting.

The large lounge has widescreen TV for streaming fom Laptop/iPad/Tablet/iPhone/Smartphone (bring your HDMI cable). There is also a DVD player, which doubles as a CD player. WIFI internet access is available for free.

The lounge also has 2 large sofas extending to double sofa beds, dining table with 8 chairs, and air-con unit same as in bedrooms. The lounge doors open onto a wide, sunny, south-east facing large terrace, which is equipped with a table and 6 chairs, and also 4 sun-loungers with comfy mattresses. There is a dedicated parking space. Next door to the complex is the Iasis hospital and pharmacy.

Bed-linen and towels (except beach/pool towels) are provided.
A travel cot and child booster chair is also available for hire - please bring your own cot bedlinen.

Diana Gardens complex is on the Eastern (airport) side of Paphos, on the outskirts of the Universal residential area, just off the main road.
It is next to Iasis Hospital, which has a pharmacy and shop attached.
Its about a 15 minute (15km approx) drive from Paphos airport.
The complex has a library/book-swap room located at the pool.
The nearest shop (Elli's) and bar/restaurant (Pambi's) are a 10 minute walk away, in the Universal area.
The main tourist area of Kato Paphos is a 15-20 minute walk, and the harbour is a 20-25 minute walk.
Kato Paphos has an abundance of shops, banks, bars and excellent restaurants, including the well known Bar Street area.
Car hire offices are plentiful, and driving is easy, as cars are right-hand drive and drive on the left, as in the UK.
UK visitors wont need electrical appliance adaptors, as the 3-pin plug system is used here too.
There are many historic & cultural sites in the area, including Paphos Castle, and the ancient Tombs of the Kings.
Diana Gardens is a 15 minute walk to the nearest beach, opposite the Aloe Hotel.
Sailing, water skiing, boat hire, excursions, wind surfing and fishing are all available from the harbour area.
There are 4 championship golf courses within 15 minutes drive - the newly opened Falldo designed Elea course at Geriskipou; Minthis Hills at Tsada: Secret Valley, and the magnificent Aphrodite Hills complex, which also caters for tennis and horse-riding.
The legendary Aphrodites Rock is also about 15 minutes drive.
The local bus service from the harbour area can take you to the lovely Coral Bay, just 7 miles away, and to the old town, just a mile from the complex.
The local karting centre and waterpark are 20 minutes walk, as is an indoor bowling centre.
Paphos old town, with its mixture of modern boutiques, market area and traditional Cypriot shopping, is a 15 minute walk from the complex.

In winter, it is even possible to ski in the Troodos Mountains (90 minute drive approx), and sunbathe and swim in the sea on the same day!
Cyprus is a truly magical island, and your holiday here will undoubtably be a memorable one.

We arrived in the apartment on 5th August 2012. The apartment was exactly as described in the description and the Pictures looked exactly the same. The correspondence we had with the owner Vincent balfe was excellent. We were excellently looked after whilst we were there by John and Margaret The location of the compex was ideally situated there was a resturant located about 15 minutes walk away. Also there was public transport located at the bottom of the road which took you anywhere and the buses were wheelchair accessible and cost one euro. The apartment is also ideal for any one with mobility problems or who need to use a wheelchair as our daughter who is 39 and uses a wheelchair was able to go around the apartment in her wheelchair and was able to access the grounds and the pool easily. All in all it was a fantastic place which I would reccomend to anyone.

A superb appartment that is excellent value for money. It had everything needed to make the stay enjoyable for our family of four. and was in the perfect position to be far enough away from Paphos to be quiet but close enough to visit if wanted. Very close to the Paphos Mall (which has a Costa Coffe outlet!) and a great supermarket if self catering. Although the pool was a little on the cold side we still used it and considering the time of year we are not complaining. We will definitely use this appartment again when we return to Cyprus.

The apartment is a long way out for first time visitor not knowing the area however there is a good bus service from just across the road, the timetable in the apartment was out of date but we have left an up to date one in the apartment, the location for the pool was excellent. We had a problem with the air conditioning in our bedroom mid way through our holiday but this was sorted out with speed and efficiency by the owner and the managers. We had a lovley quiet three weeks break and wouldnt hesitate to use this property again. If you want peace and quiet away from hustle and bustle we would definately recomend the property. If we had any slight negativity - we could only get ITV on the TV due to poor satelite signal. Not really a problem but we were there for three weeks so it would have been nice on occasion to get a diferent channel

very spacious, well equipped apartment which exceeded our expectations. This was our first time renting an apartment separately from a package holiday and i would recommend it to anyone. We had a fantastic holiday at Diana gardens and will be booking again next year.

We arrived at the beginning of July 2009. The appartment was exactly as described and was light and airy with excellent, close, access to the pool which was superb and got well used every day. There was good communication from Vincent, the owner of the apartment, before we set off for Cyprus, with good arrival instructions including directions to the apartment and some tips on where to go to eat and drink as well as all important appartment entry details and emergency contact numbers. We had no problems getting to the apartment or getting into it, even though we arrived late at night. We found several small problems upon our arrival but one phone call to Vincent and the really helpful agent came around and got everything sorted the same morning. Excellent client service with a smile. The aircon, which was included in the price, was needed, as it was very hot in July, and once again the agent explained the best, most efficient way to use it. in fact once he had spent 5 mins setting it up for us, we never touched it again for the full 2 weeks, it worked so well. So all in all our stay started off well and stayed that way for the rest of our holiday. I would rate this apartment as excellent with good quality, furniture and appliances. In fact, I think we only found one thing missing and that was directions on how to get a gas cylinder so we could use the provided gas barbecue. Hardly a disaster! I cannot recommend this apartment, or Vincent, highly enough, they both combined to make a family holiday great and that is exactly why we will be back again the next time we visit Cyprus.

My family & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Paphos at Diana Gardens. All our needs were met, the apartment is in a nice quiet spot, its clean and spacious. The owner is very approachable, dealing immediately with our one and only query. We did benifit from having a car, mainly due to wanting to visit places just outside of Paphos.

This was our second trip to Diana Gardens and once again we were not disappointed. This was our first trip in April and the complex was very quite and on several occasions we were the only ones using the pool. we love it here so much we have already boooked again for July! It is an ideal base to explore Cyprus and a car is recommended

Very spacious and comfortable and well appointed. Generously equipped. Poolside equipment very good and pool good. Quiet area and easy to relax. Not told we would need a car, which is necessary if you stay there, no local bus service although convenient to travel around Cyprus from this location by car.

This apartment is on a lovely complex. It was quiet, clean and well maintained. The apartment is excellently located the large patio only a few yards from the poolside. It was larger than we expected and the fixtures and fittings of a very good quality. We visited in July and the air conditioning was essential as it was very hot. As the harbour, with many restaurants, is a good 25 minute walk away a car is essential especially during the day.

The apartment was brilliant and had everything we needed. The pool and surrounds were clean and well maintained. I went with my two grandchildren who are 9yrs and 11yrs and the welcome we had from both other guests and residents was great. Because I dont drive, we walked into the town each day which was about a mile, taking a taxi back. The cost was usually about 8 to 10 Euros. As an unaccompanied female with two children I felt completely safe and can recommend the apartment to any single parent, especially if its there first holiday on there own. The owners e-mail with loads of local info was really helpfull, as was the file which we found in the apartment. I shall definately return here again.
A family holiday here was perfect. With ages covering four generations it definitely suited all of us. The description is very accurate and once you get your bearings the amenities and restaurants are easy to find. The complex is quiet, safe and very welcoming. The local Garage Grill restaurant is superb and within walking distance - Georgia the owner is lovely. The apartment is very clean and perfect for a self-catering holiday with adequate cooking facilities. I would certainly return to this property in the future and recommend to friends.
This accommodation and holiday exceeded our expectations by far. No longer will we be travelling on a "package" holiday - booking flights and accommodation separately is the way to go. No getting up at 5am to put towels out on a sun bed, no loud entertainment system..... Entertainment, if required, is about a 20 minute walk away. Its in a quiet location, and have a few shops around that you can walk too. We had car hire for the duration of our stay. We hope to go back there next year.
Whole property is suberb, very clean and well kept. All facilities in apartment first class, we only had four in our party but apartment would easily accomodate 6 with plenty of space. Apartment and block are as per photos all really nice. Would have no problem in recommending this to any friends or family.
This was an excellent property which catered for all all our needs. With children of mixed ages there was plenty to do with the swimming pool and the sky tv/dvd combo. With a bus route close to the apartment complex its very cheap to travel to the harbour and waterpark. Its a very friendly complex in a lovely location. Thank you very much for making our holiday so much more lovely and exciting.

We spent a month here-mid Nov to mid Dec. The apartment was very well equipped and furnished, the beds were of good quality and very comfortable. The agents were very helpful as was the owner with a slight hic-up at the start of our stay. The first 2 weeks we were without a car and enjoyed the 25 min stroll to the harbour or the Old Town the local bar Panos was about 10 Mins away and has a friendly atmosphere. When we hired a car (shop around!) the apartment was ideally situated for the motorway (5 Mins) Food shopping is within easy reach on foot or by car. Great apartment in a quiet position.
The directions given from the airport to the apartment were spot on, and easy to follow. The apartment itself was clean and reasonably spacious, although I would suggest that it sleeps only 4 people. The location suited our needs as it was nice and quiet and very relaxing. We did however visit in October which is at the end of the season, and many of the other properties in the comlex were unoccupied. The accomodation was exactly as described and we would consider staying there again. Although you can walk to the nearby restaurants I would recommend driving or getting a taxi if your not young and fit. Overall a very enjoyable stay and I would recommend it to a friend/family.
Excellent property. Good location, ideal base for getting about. Close enough to town centre, if walking, but far enough away for a relaxing time. Pool is excellent, well maintained, and in clean condition. As for the apartment equipment, everything worked as expected, and all in good condition. Satellite (UK Free Channels only) TV and DVD player worked well. Overall, an excellent apartment, and good value for money. I would certanly recommend this apartment for future holidays (and long stays).
the property was exactly as described and catered for our every need as a family,the air con at night was a big bonus as it was so hot, the pool was very good for the children and the apartment located in a good place as elizabeth has ms and didnt have any stairs to climb, the walk to town was accurately described by the owner as 20 to 25 mins but to much for elizabeth with her ms but when we got the hire car everything was fine, we had the hustle and bustle of the town and the pease and tranquility of the complex at night, just how i like it. met lots of very nice people at the complex, especialy stef and his family who was very helpfull, some who own property there and some who rented like myself. the owner was very helpful right from my first enquiry down to booking a car. thanks for a fantastic holiday. regards trevor, liz and kids.

My daughter and her family live in Cyprus in Larnicka and we have visit 5 times this year as it was her birthday in July we wanted to take her away some where nice but she didnt want to leave Cyprus and I discovered Diana Gdns and what a discovering the apartment was fantastic it was like going from home to home it is just how the pictures show and more we were worried about taking 2 small children into such a new apartment but it was very child friendly as the also the people on the complex mostly the owners and they made us very welcome and advised us where to visit, eat and shop the pool and complex was cleaned daily what I mostly like was booking through a agent but then the owner taking over the final arrangements I have recommended this apartment to at least 3 people so far and Iwill not be hesitating to return again and again P.S. we were told that by the new year the bus service will be running pass the complex which we make it much more easier for getting to places if you do not drive.
The apartment is in a beautiful complex with an excellent pool. It was very relaxing and quiet, ideal for reading. The apartment is extremely well located, as the patio is a mere 10 metres from poolside. The air-conditioning and facilities within the apartment were great.. Paphos town has a wide variety of night life and excellent restaurants. The apartment is a 20 min walk from the sea front or a few minutes by car. We really enjoyed our stay.

The description of the apartment was completely accurate and well described. I could find no fault with it whatsoever as all of the rooms were large, air conditioned and great facilities included throughout. The apartment is ideally located, just outside the town with a large supermarket just a ten minute stroll away and a bus stop across the road from the complex which myself and my partner found to be excellent as it can take you to many great tourist locations around the area. I would highly recommend this apartment to people of all ages who are looking for a relaxing getaway.

myself my wife, daughter and her husband stayed in june 2007 plenty of space for us, the apartment was well fitted out with everything you need,the air conditioning was very usefull as it gets very warm in Cyprus at this time of year.Paphos is a very pleasant place to spend a holiday with plenty to do,if you are not to active it would be wise to hire a car to visit the many attractions around the area, i would recomend the apartment to anyone,the owner is very helpfull in every respect
