Megas Alexandros represents a rare opportunity to be close to all amenities yet also be within an idyllic and tranquil holiday complex in central Kato Paphos. This ground breaking new development in the Tomb of the Kings area is situated just a short stroll to Tomb of The Kings Road where all main amenities, bars and restaurants can be found. The complex is intimately designed with character throughout and all apartments benefit from the wonderfully designed semi-circular pool area which is decorated by palm trees, rockery and wooden bridges with stainless steel balustrades. Other high quality specifications include, controlled and secure entrance to Underground car parking, door entry systems, elevator to all floors, marble staircases/landings and communal changing rooms and showers to name just a few.
The apartment itself, is spacious and modern in its design and has been tastefully furnished throughout with all fittings being of the highest quality. The apartment has been equipped as a home and all the little extras make a big difference.
On entering this ground floor apartment, you pass the fully equipped kitchen to your right and move into the main living areas. The kitchens fitted units are accompanied by matching work surfaces, tiled splashbacks and stainless steel handles. Appliances include fridge/freezer, washing machine, oven, hob and hood and microwave.
From the kitchen you enter the spacious and open plan lounge/dining area. The dining table seats 4, as does the lounge which has very comfortable leather sofas. The lounge has further benefit of TV with satellite (premium channel IPTV) and DVD for entertainment.
Access from the lounge can be gained through full width patio doors to a generously sized terrace which in turn leads out to the tropical pool area. The south facing terrace features a table and chairs to seat 4 as well as 4 sun loungers for further relaxation, and overlooks the pool area
and Mediterenean Sea in the distance. Shade can be gained as required making the area being the perfect place for alfresco dining, relaxing, socialising and generally soaking up the warm Cyprus sunshine.
The property has 2 double sized bedrooms, both with fitted wardrobes. The master bedroom has a large double bed and en-suite facilities that includes large cubicle with shower, wc and w/h basin. The second bedroom has 2 single sized beds and close access to the central shower room. Between the 2 bedrooms is the aforementioned luxurious and fully tiled shower room with shower, tray, wc and w/h basin.
The property is fully air-conditioned with ceiling fans having been fitted throughout. Electric central heating allows winter bookings. Shutters and flyscreens are present on all windows, assisting privacy, security and keeping the apartment dark and cool as required. An electronic safe has been fitted for safekeeping of valuables. A supply of fresh drinking water is supplied to the apartment and the water is heated by solar panels. Wi-Fi Included
The current IPTV system features most UK Sky channels (premium sports, documentaries, movies & music included) as well as many channels in German, Spanish and Russian. It also features a library of 900 movies, series and children's series which is regularly updated.

Tomb of the Kings Area and Paphos
This ideally situated holiday apartment is set in an enviable position , just off one of the main thoroughfares in Kato Paphos. It is within easy walking distance of the essential amenities at Tomb of The Kings Road and the seafront, as well as being only a 10 minute walk to the famous Old Town of Paphos where you will find the municipal markets as well as a large selection of shops, cafes restaurants and other points of interest. Popular restaurants like Olivetos, Fat Mamas, Artio Brasserrie, Youkoso and many more are within short walking distance.
Paphos combines ancient history with a cosmopolitan, modern tourist resort. The area by the coast is known as Kato Paphos and boasts a pretty little harbour and plenty of open air cafes and bars. Further inland is the aforementioned old town of Paphos, known by the locals as Ktima. With its narrow streets, hustle and bustle, covered market and typically Cypriot atmosphere, it is well worth a visit. As a consequence, Paphos is on UNESCOs World Cultural Heritage list.
Cyprus is famous as the birth place of the goddess Aphrodite, Venus in Roman mythology. She is known as the Ancient Greek goddess of love and beauty. Legend says that she emerged from the sea at Aphrodite’s Rock in a surge of sea foam.
Please note that this property can be accessed at any time after 3pm on arrival day so please dont worry if you have a late flight. There is a keysafe which we provide a code for. We can arrange taxi transfer by our own driver who knows where the property is and assist with car hire from the airport if desired. The property is professionally managed (you will always have a contact) and has linen changes and cleaning on a weekly basis (10-28 night stays). Air-Conditioning is included in the rental price as is a welcome pack of basic essentials for your arrival.

This was our 2nd stay in this apartment (we stayed 2 years ago) and it is still by far the best one we have stayed in. Its clean, new, fantastically situated, quiet etc. The little extras like DVD player, ipod dock, hairdryer, towels and a welcome pack of tea, coffee etc are just simple but really nice touches.
The way the apartment faces means its nice and shady at breakfast time and then early evening you can still sit on the patio and enjoy the last bits of sun coming straight down on you. Its secluded from the other apartments to a degree too so nice and private for late drinks.
The pool is maintained very well and its a nice temperature too!!!!
The apartments situation in Paphos is great too, just a short walk from the start of the strip into Paphos. This time we also discovered Old Paphos behind us where there is another selec tion of shops and tavernas.
The supermarket is a hop skip and jump away which was handy for stocking up.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would return again and again.
The taxi collection and return driver was fantastic too that we booked through the owners - he really made us feel welcome and he couldnt offer to do enough for us.
Megas Alexandros is a small complex in a quiet area not far from the Tomb of the Kings Road where it is accesible to all restuarants, amenities and the old town. Our holiday was affected by the volcanic ash crisis, John Smith (Property Manager )and Steven from letsrentonline could not have done enough for us during this trying time. Thank you for all your support. We would thoroughly recommend this apartment.
The property was just as described, it met our every need and we enjoyed 2 weeks in paradise.
The location was ideal, in a quiet area but an easy walk to everything.
Recommend a car to see the island, but not necessary if you are happy in one location as everything is easily accessable in Paphos.
Any assistance or help was only a phone call away and John was always on hand if required. I do hope Man City have a good year or hell have to put his shirt away.
This is the first time we have booked with Villarenters and it is the best appartment that we have ever stayed in. It was better than it looks in the photos. It has everything you could possibly need including beach towels. It was just a short walk to the Tomb of Kings road with bars and lots of places to eat and a short walk to the old town with the markets and shops. A perfect location.
We booked Andys taxi he was excellent, very reliable, he gave us a cool drink which was just what we needed. John who looks after the appartment is also excellent and keeps it very clean.
The only down side was coming home, we could have happily stayed longer. I would definitely recommend this appartment.
We had a fantastic fortnight, Recommend to book taxi before arrival, Andy the taxi driver was so helpful, we arrived at the apartment quite late, all the essentials was there, milk, bread, T bags etc, the complex is spotless, quiet but 10 minutes walk to bars, restaurant and entertainment. If looking for good home cooking, the Deveonshire is excellent food, The Harbour is 45 minutes walk away, The old town and meerket is 10 minutes away. Well worth a visit.
