Megas Alexandros represents a rare opportunity to be close to all amenities yet also be within an idyllic and tranquil holiday complex in central Kato Paphos. This ground breaking new development in the Tomb of the Kings area is situated just a short stroll to Tomb of The Kings Road where all main amenities, bars and restaurants can be found.

The complex is intimately designed with character throughout and all apartments benefit from the wonderfully designed semi-circular pool area which is decorated by palm trees, rockery and wooden bridges with stainless steel balustrades. Other high quality specifications include, controlled and secure entrance to Underground car parking, door entry systems, elevator to all floors, marble staircases/landings and communal changing rooms and showers to name just a few.

The Apartment

The apartment itself, is spacious and modern in its design and has been professionally and tastefully furnished throughout with all fittings being contemporary and of the highest quality. On entering this first floor apartment, you pass the fully equipped kitchen to your right and move into the main living areas. The kitchens fitted units are accompanied by matching work surfaces, tiled splashbacks and stainless steel handles. Appliances include fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, hob and hood and microwave. From the kitchen you enter the spacious and open plan lounge/dining area. The dining table seats 4, as does the lounge which has a very comfortable corner sofa with leather which can convert into a sofa bed. The lounge has further benefit of LCD TV with Premium Satellite and DVD for entertainment.

Access from the lounge can be gained through full width patio doors to a generously sized (3.5m x 3.5m) balcony. The south facing balcony features a table and chairs to seat 4 as well as 2 sun loungers for further relaxation, and overlooks the pool area and Mediterenean Sea in the distance. Shade can be gained as required making the area being the perfect place for alfresco dining, relaxing, socialising and generally soaking up the warm Cyprus sunshine.

The property has 2 double sized bedrooms, both with fitted wardrobes. The master bedroom has a large double bed and en-suite facilities that includes bath, shower, wc and w/h basin. It also has a TV with DVD player. The second bedroom has 2 single sized beds and close access to the central shower room.

Between the 2 bedrooms is a luxurious and fully tiled shower room with shower, tray, wc and w/h basin.

The property is fully air-conditioned with ceiling fans having been fitted throughout. There are also electric background heaters for further comfort in Winter Evenings. Shutters are present on all windows, assisting privacy, security and keeping the apartment dark and cool as required. An electronic safe has been provided for safekeeping of valuables. A supply of fresh drinking water is supplied to the apartment and the water is heated by solar panels.

**The current IPTV system features most UK Sky channels (premium sports, documentaries, movies & music included) as well as many channels in German, Spanish and Russian. It also features a library of 900 movies, series and children's series which is regularly updated.**

Tomb of the Kings Area and Paphos

This ideally situated holiday apartment is set in an enviable position , just off one of the main thoroughfares in Kato Paphos. It is within easy walking distance of the essential amenities at Tomb of The Kings Road and the seafront, as well as being only a 10 minute walk to the famous Old Town of Paphos. Popular restaurants like Olivetos, Fat Mamas, Artio Brasserrie, Youkoso and many more are within short walking distance.

Paphos combines ancient history with a cosmopolitan, modern tourist resort. The area by the coast is known as Kato Paphos and boasts a pretty little harbour and plenty of open air cafes and bars. Further inland is the aforementioned old town of Paphos, known by the locals as Ktima. With its narrow streets, hustle and bustle, covered market and typically Cypriot atmosphere, it is well worth a visit. As a consequence, Paphos is on UNESCOs World Cultural Heritage list.

Cyprus is famous as the birth place of the goddess Aphrodite, Venus in Roman mythology. She is known as the Ancient Greek goddess of love and beauty. Legend says that she emerged from the sea at Aphrodite’s Rock in a surge of sea foam.

We can arrange taxi transfer by our own driver who knows where the property is and assist with car hire from the airport if desired. The property is professionally managed (you will always have a contact) and has linen changes and cleaning on a weekly basis (10-28 night stays). Air-Conditioning is included in the rental price as is a welcome pack of basic essentials for your arrival.**

The apartment is excellent and very comfortable. The entire process was easy and is absolutely recommend that people stay here. We went at the start of August and expected the pool to be heaving which wasn't the case. It's walking distance to various places and the beach. Ideal for what I was looking for. Facilities were excellent as well.

The apartment was very clean and very well equipped, quiet situation but very close to all ameneties, tavernas, restaurants, bus routes, banks etc - spacious balcony ideal for eating and sunbathing if you did not want to go down to pool, mid week clean and linen change most welcome and done with no inconvenience to ourselves, well informed information pack regaarding things to do - excellent holiday, would definately stay again, weather superb, thank you for helping us to have a most enjoyable and much needed holiday

Lovely apartment and definitely value for Money, the little finishing touches such as the lights on the balcony etc made it feel very lovely. Location was perfect with the tomb of kings a 5 minute walk and the harbour a 35 min walk. Some lovely restaurant at the harbour however if you don't want to walk too far the farmhouse on tomb of kings road was fantastic and very reasonable. Very impressed with the overall service, we pointed out a couple of things to ann and she acted on these immediately. I would highly recommend Paphos however avoid the hot summer months of August and July. Thank you once again. Julia .''

A nice teras, a beautiful and very clean swimmingpool. We enjoyed swimming in the almost privite swimming pool. The way to put away the key in a mini save by the door was very handy. We were very pleased with the service of our taxi driver Andy. He also told us the name of a very nice restaurant in the old city, Laona. The food was delicious and also a very good price. We have taken the bus 615 a lot to Coral Bay or to the Harbour. And we asked Andy to pick us up by the Lidl with all of the food and drinks we had bought for a whole week. A little bit of organisation but everything went very well. We would sure come back to Cyprus because we have not see everything. Do you have villa's in other places because we where very pleased with the service of your organisation. Everything was very clear so we did not need any help from the property manager. Thanks again for a very nice and well organised stay for us in Paphos.''

Very useful having washing machine available - great not having to bring back a suitcase full of dirty washing! Air conditioning and ceiling fans combined keep apartment pleasantly cool. Lovely position overlooking the pool. Large balcony which is shaded in the morning so great to sit and have breakfast there. Property is kept very clean. Having stayed at this same apartment last year it felt like home from home this year. We only visited the apartment as a couple but it would be plenty big enough for 4 people, especially having 2 bathrooms. Apartment is in a quiet location but within walking distance of plenty of bars, eateries, etc. Closer to the old part of Paphos than the harbour. Bus stops to harbour and Coral Bay a few minutes walking distance. Buses do tend to get quite full though and sometimes sail past the stop without stopping, particularly in the early evening. We hired a car from the airport for the whole holiday so didnt have to rely on the buses. Apartment is close to several restaurants and bars but we would definitely recommend Karlinas which is 5 minutes walk away, on the Tomb of the Kings Road. When you ask for the bill they bring you a liqueur and a bowl of fruit first. If you dont eat all the fruit they send it home with you! Lovely atmosphere there and staff very welcoming. There are 3 Tea for Two restaurants in Paphos - the closest one is about 15 minutes walk from the apartment and the other two are in Paphos old town and at the harbour. We visited all 3 of these are the food is excellent, you can get a proper pot of tea there and is generally an English restaurant in Paphos if thats what youre looking for. Coral Bay is definitely the best beach in the area with plenty of sun loungers, parasols, etc. We did a sightseeing trip to the Akamas peninsula and Lara Beach which was good. We hired a 4x4 car this year with the aim of doing this trip and to do it in a normal hire car wouldnt be advisable as the roads are pretty bumpy dirt tracks most of the way! In the apartment someone had left a book with sightseeing daytrips in there and we did follow a couple of them in some part. This book highlighted a visit to a candle factory just outside Geroskipou. This book was the only place we saw this candle factory mentioned and it was definitely worth a visit if you have a car. There was a factory shop with lots of candles to buy and they even did personalised ones if you had a few days left before the end of your holiday and could go back to collect a few days later. If you visit the candle factory then at the same time visit the shops in Geroskipou itself where the Cyprus delight is made. We went to the one where the lady showed us out the back where the little factory is and the choice of delights was huge - certainly fresh as well. As last year, we were very satisfied with the service provided by the agents. Steven was very prompt in replying when I first booked the apartment and communication at all times has been very efficient. We were very satisfied with our local manager, John. He came to the apartment on our first morning to introduce himself and see if we had any problems. We had noticed that part of the shower head was broken but John came the following morning with a replacement and fitted it. Very friendly chap who we knew was at the end of the phone if we needed him for anything."
