Village house overview - owner's description
This beautiful, old but newly renovated Cypriot house is located in the delightful village of Tochni. The house stands at the highest point of eastern hills with a panoramic view and a private swimming pool in the middle. The style of this house is with no doubt traditional Cypriot, giving you the feeling of being in another era. The owners of the house have made every effort in keeping with the original style, but making sure that there are all the comforts of modern times. This is an outstanding accommotation located on the 1st floor, offering peace and privacy to its occupants .
The Village house is situated in Tochni village which is located right in the centre of the island, by the beach, and midway Larnaca and Limassol, two of the major cities in Cyprus. The location is a great advantage because it's easy to organise day trips and see more of the island of love...Cyprus.
Governor's Beach, Which is only 6 kilometres away apart of it’s excellent shallow beach, also offers the spectacular white rocks area for those who like snorkelling, boating, fishing…or have a nice walk in one of the many nature trails on the hills near by, or on the beach watching a beautiful sunrise There is a grate selection of nice restaurants, where you can enjoy your lunch or dinner sitting under the trees…

Vrakas House Suite
We recently had a two week stay in the Vrakas House.
My wife and I had a wonderful holiday. The villa was exactly as described and met our expectations. The villa was very good value for money. George the owner was there to meet us on arrival and he and his wife and mother were extremely helpful and friendly from ensuring things worked well in the property to advising on places to see and visit. Nothing was too much trouble and they were at hand if needs be.
The villa is rural but beautiful and tucked away in a typical Cypriot village. Lovely place to stay and escape from the rat race! You do need a car to explore further and wide but the road systems are easy to navigate and it is easy to get around the main areas of Cyprus.
We will definitely be returning again in the future and would certainly recommend!
we stayed at this villa for 7 days, on first impressions the villa is stunning, very clean and well maintained its in a lovel little village up in the hills the owner was very welcoming and nothing was to much for him to do, one thing i will say is that the villa is not private to just you as there are other apartments downstairs which at times did make us feel like we couldnt go down and use the pool as we felt a bit awkward with people sat there almost watching us, we where under the impression that it would be private as it says private pool so you assume that private means private to you not everybody who will be staying there, on a plus side the people downstairs went out most days so we did get it to yourself but it would have ruined our holiday if they hadnt of gone out most days, another English couple turned up 2days before we left who also thought it was private so i think maybe the wording needs to be changed as it can be misinterpreted as had we known it wasnt private we wouldnt of booked that villa as we just wanted some where we could escape from everything and not have other people around us as if we had wanted that we would of stayed in a hotel.
This was a lovely peaceful place to stay. It is very authentic and in a lovely village.
