Location & Tala
Serenity Villa is situated in the breathtaking hills of Tala, in Paphos. Its elevated position ensures all-round town and sea views which can be enjoyed from the landscaped garden, swimming pool and from most rooms of the house.
Only a 10 minute drive from the Blue Flag beaches at Coral Bay and from the centre of Paphos, Tala is a popular location for visitors, ex-pat residents and holiday home owners alike.
Looking down on the main town of Paphos (out to the Med), and often labelled the Beverley Hills of Cyprus, Tala offers a peaceful location with a good village heart including the infamous monastery and a fine selection of bars, restaurants, traditional taverns and other eateries. Tala is home to the now famous Olivers delicatessen and The Gallery which is a very tranquil and upmarket bistro bar, in a private and leafy setting.
The village is conveniently situated for Golf at Tsada, with further golf courses at Secret Valley and Aphrodite Hills less than 30 minutes away by car. The villa provides an ideal location for wedding parties and honeymooners with the many weddings that take place in Cyprus (the island of love), and is perfect for those seeking a peaceful, relaxed lifestyle within close proximity of modern amenities.
Car Hire is essential for getting around and seeing the many attractions of Cyprus and can be arranged by us at local rates.
Paphos itself consists of two towns, each with its very own character. Ktima on the cliff (Upper Paphos) and Kato Paphos by the sea (Lower Paphos). One is virtually unchanged over the centuries and thoroughly Cypriot, while the other has expanded over the last decade from a sleepy fishing village and harbour, into a vibrant cosmopolitan resort which is expanding and improving each year.
In Kato Paphos, (in the archaeological park), you will find many fine mosaics and buildings from Greek and Roman periods, plus the Harbour Castle. Close by, is the church of St Pauls Pillar, where the pillar St Paul was tied to can be found. Further down this road are the Tombs of the Kings and Christian Catacombs.
Going towards the unspoilt Akamas Peninsula (10km), there is Lara Bay, (famous for turtles) and Latchi, famous for its seafront and harbour restaurants as well as the clean sandy beach and crystal clear waters.
Heading North by car, you can find the route through Tsada, Cedar Valley and the Troodos Mountains. The route is peppered with many other small but charming villages along the way.
An excellent highway runs to all corners of Cyprus but the old coast road is the most scenic route. A drive along here past various ancient sites such as Aphrodites Birthplace and Temple, towards Limassol, taking in Curium, is delightful and is littered with the most beautiful views.
**Please note that the property can be accessed at any time after 3pm on the day of arrival. You will be met on arrival at the property. We can arrange taxi transfer by our own driver who knows where the property is and assist with car hire from the airport if desired. The property is professionally managed and has linen changes and cleaning on a weekly basis. Air-Conditioning is included in the rental price as is a welcome pack of basic essentials and wine for your arrival.**
We’ve just returned from our stay in Tala and found the hillside setting of the Serenity Villa perfect with hot, hot days and cooler nights than downtown Paphos.
The kids loved the pool which is stunning, and were in and out from morning, noon to night. The beds were a tad too hard for my liking and this is the one and only criticism I could think of – other than that absolutely wonderful.
Thanks for the warm welcome.

We thoroughly enjoyed this holiday which for us, was a chance to get away together as a family as we are now spread around the globe. The owners were most diligent in greeting us, even though our flight was late at night. The quality of the villa was excellent and beautifully kept and maintained. All the facilities were greatly appreciated by different members of the family.
We would thoroughly recommend the property. The location is ideal - accessible to Paphos and its attractions but tranquil and beautiful. Always a welcome gentle breeze. Would love a return visit.

This is an excellent property finished to a very high standard of specification throughout. The location high on the hills overlooking Paphos and the surrounding district is impressive and even more stunning at night. A car is necessary, even its just to transport the shopping from the 2 major supermarkets situated some 3km. The village of Tala is walkable but a bit of an uphill slog on the homeward journey. The setting is quiet and private yet you are not isolated Mauro & Carole, the very pleasant owners, live in the property next door and are available should you have any queries.
We all have a fantastic time and enjoyed the space offered at this luxurious Villa. Would without exception recommend to anyone, if you want to be accessible to Paphos but enjoy tranquillity the this is the Villa to rent.
Thank you Mauro & Carole. Hope to see you again in the future.

This was our second visit to Villa Serenity, and the only problem is knowing when we can go back for our third time! I think I used pretty well all of my bank of superlatives after last years holiday, but I will gladly repeat them all this year!
We felt at home immediately on arrival, aided in no small part by Mauro & Carole who will go out of their way to make you feel welcome. This villa provides absolutely everything that you could possibly want - the most valuable commodity being peace & quiet.
If you are planning a holiday in Cyprus, then dont bother looking at anywhere else to stay, everywhere else would pale by comparison, please take my word for it!

The villa was very good and looked just like the brochure. The location was excellent in a quiet residential area with good views and easy reach of Paphos and the surrounds. We recommend Lemesos waterpark, Historical sites around Paphos, Troodos Massif. Very good service from agents and owners.

''The view from the villa was beautiful and the the property itself was well furnished. The owners were extremely accommodating and provided us with a very useful welcome pack. The location is great for the views, I would recommend a car if you have children or aren't mobile. The nearest shop is about a 3km walk. It was perfect for our purposes, and if you are looking for peace and quiet but access to Paphos it's perfect. We visited the local brewery which was extremely interesting, and also took a drive around the coast to take in the stunning views. Very good service, cant suggest any improvements, it was all great!''

Excellent, couldnt ask for a better villa. Excellent for us as we like a quieter location, car is essential but what a view!!!! The cafe Tea for Two and Captains View on the Harbour in Paphos is very good. Visited the Monastery in Tala, Kato Paphos and the Tomb of the Kings well worth a visit. Couldnt fault your service, excellent. The owners were absolutely brilliant, couldnt ask for better service and the welcome pack was indeed very welcome especially at 9pm!! We had a marvellous holiday, excellent villa, great location, altogether 10/10!! Regards, Lorraine

We would highly recommend The Villa Serenity to everyone. It was definitely top spec everything provided for comfort. It had the most fantastic view day and night. The owners were on hand and very helpful. When booking our holiday we were kept up tp date and very efficiently. Coral Bay and The Zoo were nearby and very enjoyable. Paphos was easily accessible once you had your bearings. Plenty of shops, supermarkets and bakeries on hand. Restaurants and bars are along the coast and all very friendly.
We would recommend Andys taxis (organised by the owner) who was on hand at the dro p the hat. We would love to revisit Cyprus at some time in the future. Our reason to visit Cyprus was for our sons wedding(Pahos Town Hall) which again was superb. Thanks again to everyone involved and making our holiday very memorable. Alan and Anne Rowson

Fantastic villa, loved it very well kept. Perfect location. Kourion beach was probably our favourite, also the beach bar there sells great food, and St. George restaurant on the Arkamas peninsula (near the Zoo), fantastic sea food, beautiful view. First class service from agent and owner, very prompt and courteous.

"Fantastic, excellent standard. Perfect, just as described. Pissouri Beach was really nice,, and the Lazy Day Boat Trip from Paphos Harbour was worth doing. LetsRentOnline were very efficient. Very handy to have owners next door in case anything went wrong."
