Overview

Our 1000 sf 2 bedroom air conditioned apartment is managed by a British couple who will "meet/greet" you when you arrive at the apartment.

If you have any questions or problems during your stay, do not hesitate to contact them. They are there to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Included in your rental is a complimentary "Welcome Pack" ( bookings of 7 nights and more) which has basic staples such as bread, milk, butter, tea, coffee and sugar.


Once you have made your booking we can advise you of our website which has an extensive and informative list of restaurants, golf courses, wineries, beaches, diving schools and "things to see and do". The full directions to the apartment from either Paphos or Larnaca airport are also on the site.

The apartment is situated in Tala, a traditional Greek Cypriot village which is surrounded by elegant private villa’s and small apartment buildings.

In the village square there are a number of restaurants, taverna’s and two small grocery stores. These are just an easy 5 minute stroll away. A chemist and a laundry are also just minutes walk away. A British owned deli (high quality English & European cheeses, cold meats, English bacon, gourmet foods etc etc) called Olivers is a short drive or a 15 to 20 walk away. it is right next to the excellent Papantoniou Bakery.

A lift/elevator will take you to our spacious 4th floor apartment which is part of “Tala Hills 1 ”. Our large verandah overlooks a valley with panoramic views of the Paphos coastline & Mediterranean.

We have furnished the apartment to a very high standard. For your convenience we have had a safe installed.

The lounge and dining area are bright, open and airy.

The lounge can comfortably seat in excess of 10 people and the dining table seats 6.

Adjacent to the lounge / dining room is a separate, well designed and equipped kitchen which includes a washing machine and a dishwasher.

The entertainment system has a large flat screen T.V. and a dvd/cd/vhs combo player.

A hallway leads to the fully tiled and bright bathroom (bath/shower combo) as well as the large master bedroom with a double bed and the second double sized bedroom with two single beds.

The lounge and the master bedroom lead onto the large covered verandah where you have the most stunning views of Paphos and the Mediterranean.

On the verandah is a table with 6 chairs for outdoor dining. Here you can sit and enjoy the views and the sounds of song birds as you enjoy your breakfast.

During the evening enjoy the many magnificent sunsets as you sip a nice glass of wine.

For your comfort during the cooler months, the air conditioning units convert to heaters.

There is a large swimimng pool which is surrounded by well groomed gardens and grounds. Showers and WC are located by the pool.

To get the most pleasure from your trip, we do recommend that you hire a car. There is ample private off road parking. at " Tala Hills 1 ". No parking spot allocation. Some undercover parking.

If you hire a vehicle, then this can be picked up and dropped off at the airport.

By car from/to Paphos airport is an approx 25 to 30 minute drive. From/to Larnaca airport is approx 75 to 90 minutes. Full directions from either Paphos or Larnaca airport can be found on our website :

It is about a 10 to 15 minute drive to the beaches and the town of Paphos with its historic harbour & sites, shops, restaurants, market, supermarkets and banks.

Three 18 hole championship international golf courses are within an easy drive of the apartment. The nearest (Tsada) is an approx 15 minute drive away. If you do not decide to rent a car then :

- Taxis are reasonable. We can arrange for a taxi to pick you up at Paphos airport. Cost approx Euro 40. Recently, guests stayed at the apartment and they only used taxis. Cost to and from Paphos harbour approx Euro 10. They said that the drivers were all friendly, helpful and punctual.

- There is a bus service (daytime only) from Tala into Paphos which runs Monday through Friday and Saturday morning. There is no service on Sundays. From the Paphos main bus terminal you can then connect to other destinations. We will forward to you the bus schedule but please refer to the bus companies website in case it has been changed.

This is an excellent apartment in very good condition. Tala is a great place to stay, (as long as you have a car), the village square, (10 mins walk down the hill), has several excellent restaurants and bars where the food is great and the prices are about half what you would pay on the harbourside.
We felt that the rental was very good value. The process for arriving and receiving the key worked seamlessly and there was a local contact available if we had needed one.

Apartment is very well furnished and maintained. Found Tala quiet and peaceful and the village has a lot of restaurants to eat out at. People were friendly and helpful. If not driving area seems to have an excellent public bus system which is also good vaule for money, Can catch bus from Tala village to Pathos & main bus terminus. The Monastery of Agios Neophytos is within walking distance and is certainly worth visiting.

"Relaxing and Refreshing"

Beautiful apartment set in the coolTala Hills with stunning views and relaxing surroundings. Comfortable, clean and very helpful and kind owners and caretakers.Spacious living area. Our eldest son slept on the sleeper couch in the lounge and still we did not feel crowded. Great situation to travel around the western part of the island and away from the busy hot throngs of Pafos. Excellent valeu for maney too.

Apartment Victoria is a very comfortable 2 bedroom apartment, which comfortably will accommodate 4-6 people. There is ample parking should you need to rent a car. It is walking distance to the village which hosts many shops and restaurants. The apartment was in a quiet location, yet very central The apartment is tastefully decorated with high end furniture and high end appliances. It is very well equipped for all your needs. It had a beautiful unobstructed view of the ocean as well as the complexs pool, which we used on a daily basis. The outdoor amenities were kept spotless and clean. The apartment is about 15- 20 minutes from the airport and also the center of Phafos as well as many interesting historical places. There is something for every one in Cyprus and we found it a good base from which to explore Cyprus

Jo, Romford, UK : 4-12,April, 2014 This was roughly my 25th trip to Paphos - specifically Tala village and I can honestly say it is the best place I have stayed. Patrick and Lynette who own the apartment are very nice people and contact/information was great. It is in a beautiful, small complex with the most stunning views of the whole of Paphos and the sea from the balcony which is shared by the big, airy lounge and the large, peaceful, comfortable main bedroom. Plenty of storage for clothes and cases, and when cooking for 6 foodies I didnt want for anything from the well equipped kitchen, which had plenty of space and a large, extendable table that we happily sat at all night enjoying the views outside. The communal pool was very clean and quiet and Tala village is a very short walk away. There is also a lift to enable you to get your cases easily to and from the car/taxi. My children are 12 and 15 years and this is the first time I have had to travel alone with them. Jackie, who met us on arrival, was extremely lovely and very helpful and I found the whole thing a breeze. First we would like to say what a wonderful apartment you have, it is well worth the money and the local people say it is very good value. We had a really enjoyable 2 weeks stay from the 9th of October 2011 to the 23rd of October, 2011. Tala is a great little village well away from those damned "tourists" (ha ha) We hope to come back to Tala but it will probably be a couple of years and we would love to hire your pad when we do return. Around the large kidney shaped pool are sun loungers and cabana's/sun umbrella's. Shower and WC are afew steps down from the pool area. Please note that there is no lifeguard on duty at the pool. It is your sole responsibility to safeguard your children and yourself.
