Sea Caves Area
This prime positioned holiday Villa is within an affluent area known as Sea Caves and Akamas Peninsular, a protected area of outstanding natural beauty, yet still close to Coral Bay (3km) and Peyia Village (4km) with their traditional bars and restaurants. In fact, one of Paphos best restaurants Goosefat and Garlic is less than 1km away with a further choice of popular restaurants such as Anesi, Spillies and Yialos all within easy reach.
The Sea Caves area , like much of Paphos, was once rural and barren land but over recent years the Sea Caves area has changed dramatically. Now the Sea Caves area is one of the finest residential areas in Cyprus, offering some of the most exclusive villas in the island. This is not surprising when you consider its breathtaking rugged Cypriot coastline and small sandy coves with crystal clear Mediterranean waters. Sunsets in the region are simply magical.
Proceeding along from the Sea Caves you come to the pretty, tiny picturesque fishing harbour of St George with a small sand/shingle beach. St George, like Sea Caves, is a perfect spot for snorkelling and scuba diving or topping up your sun tan. We strongly recommend tasting the local speciality "fish meze" in one of the selection of small family run tavernas at St George and the dramatic sunsets are worth the visit alone from any area of this amazing coastline.
Situated 12kms from Paphos on the west coast of Cyprus and just 3km from Sea Caves, Coral Bay is a delightful resort renowned for its superb (blue flag) sandy beaches. The main thoroughfare of Coral Bay is lined with a small but ample selection of shops, restaurants, banks and bars giving you everything you need for a relaxing holiday without losing any of its local charm.
Life in Coral Bay tends to be based around the sandy bay with calm shallow waters, also offering a wide selection of water sports, it is perfect for a day out for all the family. Other things to do in the area include Paphos Bird Park, Reptile Park, Horse Riding, Akamas Peninsular & Lara Beach Nature Reserve (famous for turtles), Hiking/Walking, Buggy Safaris, 4 x 4 Safaris, Sailing and many more. Amusement and water parks in Paphos are also easily accessible from the area, as are numerous archaeological ruins such as the Tombs of the Kings the mosaics and the Christian Catacombs.
If you want to get out and explore some fantastic scenery, take a trip to Polis, Latchi or even Troodos mountains. Troodos is of course the main mountain range in Cyprus, not many people know that in the winter....you can ski!
Paphos combines ancient history with a cosmopolitan, modern tourist resort. The area by the coast is known as Kato Paphos and boasts a pretty little harbour and plenty of open air cafes and bars. Further inland is the old town of Paphos, known by the locals as Ktima. With its narrow streets, hustle and bustle, covered market and typically Cypriot atmosphere, it is well worth a visit. As a consequence, Paphos is on UNESCOs World Cultural Heritage list.
Cyprus is famous as the birth place of the goddess Aphrodite, Venus in Roman mythology. She is known as the Ancient Greek goddess of love and beauty. Legend says that she emerged from the sea at Aphrodite’s Rock in a surge of sea foam.

Plenty in the area to do for both adults and kids. The villa was clean and spacious. Hannah was really helpful and always at the end of the phone if needed.
The pool was a good size with plenty of room to play a variaty of pool games.
Will definatly be booking again!!

We had a fantastic holiday at the Villa. The views and location were fantastic .The villa was clean, tidy and furnished to a good standard. Kitchen & bathrooms were all to a good standard. We had a great and relaxing time.We will be returning later in the year." So i will recommend it to anyone who want to spend not forgetable vacations in
Lovely location, would recommend a car. Only downfall was the two showers as they were not very powerful, but overall fantastic!
Hi Sarah, Many thanks indeed for review of the Winnning Post Villa in Sea Caves. We are really pleased that you had such a good time and enjoyed both the area and villa. We are sorry if the shower pressure was not in line with your expectations. We fitted a new pump at the start of the season and although it may not be as powerful as showers in the UK, by Cyprus standards (where water needs to be conserved) it is above average. We thank you very much again for your review and look forward to seeing you back again in the not too distant future.
We had a problem with the fridge which was resolved after the first week. The electricity was cut off for 28 hours ,so we had to stay in a hotel for one night.
The villa was very well appointed ,satellite tv and the big plus of inclusive air conditioning throughout which we have usually had to pay extra for . The beds were the most comfortable we have had in Cyprus. It felt more like a "home" than accomoation. I would highly recommend it. Hannah the local contact is a star, ready to help with anything.

"The villa was excellent. Location lovely with sea view and very peaceful. We recommend Imogens Inn at Kathikas to everyone. Lovely ambience, great food, good hosts and the best Tiramisu weve ever tried. You need to order the Tiramisu at least 2 days in advance to be sure its available. The service from yourselves was excellent. Hannah was great even after the early morning call. The villa was kept spotless throughout our stay and linen etc. changed weekly. We cant praise them enough. Thank you again for a most enjoyable holiday, the villa was lovely and the service from yourselves and the local managers was second to none. We will recommend you to our friends.

"The property suited us perfectly. The location was as quiet as we hoped it would be which is very important to us. We always visit Sunset Cafe and receive a very warm welcome. Very satisfied with your services agents as this was a late booking, Hannah was very good showing us the Villa T.V and Air Con. When we reported the very noisy Fridge to her on the Saturday (forgot it was the weekend!) she got back to us very quickly and the engineer called to fix it after the week end.

"Thank you Steve - can I pass on our heartfelt thanks to all concerned who helped our holiday go extremely smoothly - well organised, a lovely place and very friendly people - we were particularly impressed with Andy/Andreaus who is a mine of information and a lovely man. Thanks once again - Colin Brooks.
"The villa is in such a peaceful and quiet location and although there are other villas around you very rarely see anyone. We enjoyed walking down to the Sea Caves and swimming in the sea. There is a great taverna just a 5 minute walk away and although Coral Bay is close by we didn't really need it that much. We came with our mum and dad who really appreciated the time with the grandkids and that they didn't have to climb any stairs whilst at the villa. We will definitely return. Thanks again.Alan and Gill Taylor, Herts, UK"
