Villa Talassa is a spacious three bedroom detached villa in a quiet cul-de-sac with private pool, fantastic view, fully airconditioned and beautifully furnished.
Villa Talassa is one of a cluster of seven (built 2005) in a quiet cul-de-sac next to a plot with grass and trees. It is only 5 minutes drive to Coral Bay with its sandy beach, shops, restaurants and bars offering fun for all the family and a lively nightlife. The villa is 1 km from the old hillside village of Peyia which has tavernas, supermarkets, banks, and a pharmacy. You can buy fresh meat and fish and freshly baked bread, and there is a Deli (great for takeaways).
The villa is spacious and comfortable and furnished to a high standard. The ground floor consists of an open plan lounge with air-conditioning, an elegantly appointed dining area (seats six) and fully-equipped modern kitchen. French doors in the dining and living rooms lead respectively to the patio (sunbeds) and to the furnished terrace (table and chairs) overlooking the swimming pool.
Marble staircase leads to upstairs rooms, which are fully air-conditioned. The master bedroom has a four-poster bed and balcony, as well as en suite shower and toilet, and the second bedroom has two single beds (placed together) and balcony. Both balconies are accessed by French doors, which have mosquito nets. The third bedroom has two single beds. All the bedrooms have built-in wardrobes and there is a spacious family bathroom with bath, shower and toilet. There is also a downstairs toilet and central heating for use in the short winter season.
How we are different to others:
- Our pool is maintained to the very highest standards by a National Swimming Pool Foundation certified operator so you can rest assured that the quality of the water is of the highest standard ensuring a good holiday and safe swimming.
- Mosquito nets on both balcony doors, window in the third bedroom and patio door let in fresh air at night (instead of aircon)
- There is a safe for your valuables
- Gas central heating will keep you warm in winter/early spring (air con heating, which most other villas have, makes the air very dry but the house remains damp)
- Free cot, high chair and protective gats for your children
Peyia area and Paphos district
Threading through the banana plantations, a short drive along the coast and up from Paphos will bring you to the traditional hillside village of Peyia. One of the prettiest and least spoilt villages in the area, it overlooks Coral Bay and the Paphos coast. The village has charming little streets and alleyways, with interesting old houses set off by colourful flowers and citrus trees, and a beautiful old church. Peyia also has many lively tavernas but manages to preserve a friendly local atmosphere. There are good shops and supermarkets, banks, and a pharmacy. You can buy fresh meat and freshly baked bread in the village, as well as sweet and savoury pastries, and there is a Deli (great for takeaways). Just five minutes drive away from Peyia is the famous Coral Bay resort with its sandy beach, offering fun for all the family, and a lively nightlife.
Peyia Town Hall is a very popular wedding venue. Villa Talassa hosted wedding guests on several occcasions.
Paphos, the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite, combines ancient history with all the amenities of a bustling cosmopolitan tourist resort. The pretty little harbour has retained its charm with tavernas serving fresh fish and tame pelicans parading along the waterfront. Further inland is the old town of Paphos, known to the locals as Ktima, very atmospheric with its narrow streets and covered market. The early tombs of the Kings, cut out of rock with grand Doric facades, are a leading attraction off the road going north from Paphos to Coral Bay, a popular resort with its broad sandy beach and clusters of shops and cafes. Within easy driving distance of the town you can discover simple agricultural villages and forested peaks offering spectacular views. Paphos is on UNESCOs World Cultural Heritage list.
Lovely villa had a fab 2 weeks. The pool was great, like a warm bath even at night. Only grumble is the child friendly aspect. If you have a toddler like me, watch the windows in the 2nd and 3rd bedroom, easily opened and easy to fall out of!!! Would recommend a lockable TV cabinet as well as my toddler managed to trash the DVD player on our 2nd week! Grumble aside, would thoroughly recommend the villa and would love to go again soon. It’s in a nice quiet area, car hire is essential. Best beach was in Polis 33Km away to the North. The directions and guest notes were top notch. No problems with the villa at all, pool man comes twice a week to clean the pool and is not in your face, just turns up does the job and goes, hardly know he is there. previous reviews note the cooker does not work, it does! you have to set the timer as well as temp and oven mode, wont work unless timer is on!
If you book a holiday in this villa, you wont be disappointed.

Villa in quiet location and well equipped inside and out and beautifully decorated. Good air-conditioning in bedrooms which made for good nights sleep. Pool large and cleaned twice a week. Some mainance issues, external light bulbs needed replacing , second step in pool missing, oven door broken and oven not working. TV does not have any British channels except Sky News, this wasnt an issue as we hadnt gone on holiday to sit inside & watch TV but didnt match the villa information. Some of the breakages were obviously caused by previous renters but need addressing if villa is to maintain its high standards. Ideal location for access to local amenities. Would rent again and recommend to friends.

We were very impressed by the quality and level of the furnishings within the property, better than previous villas we have used. The quite location offers good privacy around the pool, whilst Coral Bay is only a 10 minute drive away. We will definitely consider this villa for future holidays.

We stayed at Villa Talassa in october and had a lovely relaxing, warm holiday Booking was very straightforward and owner Tanya responded immediately to all of our quieries. It was a very quiet area even though there are other villas around. The garden and pool area are secluded surrounded with mature shrubs and beautiful scents from jasmin which grew right up to master bedroom balcony. (photo we saw of garden must of been when first built - much more mature now). Inside villa was comfortable and clean. Just as photos really. We would reccommend this villa to anyone wanting a quiet relaxing holiday.

Exactly as portrayed on web - lovely quiet location, close to Coral bay, beautiful garden and rooms excellent. Excellent directions provided from Paphos Airport. All needs catered for in the villa, would recommend this for families and would certainly consider booking again. Although we didnt need to use them, can we suggest it might be worth providing simple instructions for the kitchen appliances, and air conditiioing, the same format as the T.V. instructions that were left. Booking process very simple and any queries resolved quickly by communication from the owner. Thank you Tanya we had a lovely holiday.

Our holiday to Cyprus was very much needed so our expectations were high and we were not disappointed.
Directions to the villa were very easy to follow so we were there in 30 mins from leaving the airport. On directions it does say Villa No. 4 but the number outside the property is No. 3 which was a little confusing. The secure key system is a simple but brilliant idea.
The villa was lovely and spotless. I have two young children and it was nice that we could just unpack and enjoy the pool and the terrace.
The facilities in the village were great for a family and some of our friends who were staying in Coral Bay drove daily to Peyia to visit the supermarket, pharmacy and bakery.
We were on holiday for a friends wedding in Peyia itself with 40 other guests and it didnt disappoint. Great holiday, great villa, great villiage and a great place to get married for those thinking about it.
Many thanks to Tanya and Derrick for all the little touches especially the stairgate, very unexpected and gratefully received. I did forget to fill in the visitors book so will send you an email so you can put it in the next time you visit.

We had a wonderful winter break at your villa, it was great to unwind for a stress-free week. We were lucky with the weather too - lots of sunshine and clear skies most of the time. Great cultural sites too, especially the Tombs of the Kings and the Roman mosaics in Paphos. These are things we didnt do during a previous summer visit. We also visited the Troodos mountains where the scenery was fantastic and theres skiing too. We didnt do it but they say you can swim in the morning and ski in the afternoon! And the villa was comfortable and clean so it was a great holiday in every way. We recommend it.
The villa was perfect for us. It had all the usual facilities with the added bonus of our own pool. One slight problem for those travelling with children, there is no British TV a godsend for adults but difficult for children. Peyia village was charming and Coral Bay was less than 10minutes away. Overall all a fab holiday in a fab villa. Many thanks to the owners for sharing it with us.
We have had a wonderful holiday in Cyprus and I just wanted to say how lovely your villa is. It was very clean and just as described. The directions were very good and when we arrived, in the early hours of the morning, having milk, tea, coffee and bread etc, left for us was just what we needed. We have stayed in numerous villas and my family and I agree it is the best we have stayed in.
We had a fantastic holiday at villa Talassa. There was everything we could have wished for and more. Its really quiet and private, away from the main road, but close to the shops, restaurants and the beach.
I will definatley be recommending it to family and friends and hope to stay there again in the future.

A lovely spacious well equipped villa with views of the sea from both balconies. Located in a quiet area but just a short drive to all amenities giving you the best of both worlds. We have stayed in a lot of villas and this is definately one of the best, I would not hesitate to recommend it. Would love to stay there again in the future.
A fantastic villa, really couldnt have asked for me.
The pool was a real bonus, everything we needed was there for us
Would definatley recommend and if we go to Cyprus again will definatley try and rebook
